  1. CLOSE!published at 16:32 Greenwich Mean Time 9 December 2017

    Crystal Palace 2-2 Bournemouth

Jordon Ibe is on for Junior Stanislas and has an almost immediate impact, forcing Julian Speroni to push his effort from just outside the box over the bar.

This game could go either way with 20 minutes remaining.

  2. goal

GOAL - Tottenham 5-0 Stokepublished at 16:31 Greenwich Mean Time 9 December 2017

    Christian Eriksen (74 mins)

It gets better and better for Spurs and worse and worse for Stoke.

Son - who has been superb - finds Christian Eriksen with a defence-splitting pass and the Dane does the rest, courtesy of a neat finish.

Mark Hughes could be in bother.

    Swansea 0-0 West Brom

Seventy minutes in and not a single shot on goal from Swansea yet.

    Poor.

Dennis Ethan: A striker's finish that and second one from the England man. A half-century of goals for Harry Kane now. COYS!

Chris: Mark Hughes getting the sack.

    Burnley 1-0 Watford

Watford want a penalty. Carillo goes down after James Tarkowski sticks out a boot to tackle him in the box. The Hornets man went down very easily, though. Tarkowski did his job there.

    Huddersfield 2-0 Brighton

A bemused Brighton fan is persisting with his santa hat and beard in the stands. There's certainly been no Christmas cheer for the travelling away supporters, Brighton have rarely looked like scoring in this game.

Instead it's Huddersfield who go close to a third as Tommy Smith curls an effort just wide of the far post.

    Burnley 1-0 Watford

Burnley pushing for a second at Turf Moor - a goal that would surely give them the three points.

Watford are clinging on in there, hoping that if they weather the storm at least one chance to snatch a point will come their way.

If you want to see perfect finishing technique then you must watch this goal from Harry Kane.

The ball fell right in his path and two strides before slotting it right into the corner. A great, great finish.

    Martin Keown
Former Arsenal defender on Final Score

After watching the replays, Martin Keown isn't convinced that Harry Kane's goal should stand for Spurs...

I believe he has his arm on the defenders shoulder, we're seeing it more and more in the game but it's less and less that referees are noticing it. You just can't get any elevation, his arm comes down on him and he holds him down - I do feel there's an element there of a foul.

    Swansea 0-0 West Brom

Chance for West Brom on the break, Hal Robson-Kanu rampaging towards the Swansea box. He gets inside the area but his cutback is poor and the hosts clear.

My son's just scored an own goal, playing for Partick against Kilmarnock. Ouch. That hurts. That hurts...

GOAL - Tottenham 4-0 Stokepublished at 16:21 Greenwich Mean Time 9 December 2017

    Harry Kane (65 mins)

Spurs are having a ball at Wembley!

Harry Kane bags his second goal of the afternoon, a typically neat side-foot finish from just inside the box after a ball aimed for Son is directed his way by a Stoke defender's challenge.

The spotlight will again fall on Mark Hughes after this. It is getting messy for his side.

    Crystal Palace 2-2 Bournemouth

Good chance for Jermain Defoe to get his hat-trick. He is picked out in the middle of the box by Junior Stanislas but sweeps his first-time effort wide.

  15. Postpublished at 16:20 Greenwich Mean Time 9 December 2017

    Burnley 1-0 Watford

Burnley have the ball in the net but the flag is up. Chris Wood tapped the ball in but Ashley Barnes was off from the chipped ball into the box that set up the chance.

  16. Postpublished at 16:19 Greenwich Mean Time 9 December 2017

    Crystal Palace 2-2 Bournemouth

We had 15 shots and four goals in the first half but there's been just the two shots so far in this half, neither of them on target. Still, plenty of time for things to get goal-crazy again. Three of the first-half goals came in the five minutes before the break.

    Tottenham 3-0 Stoke

    Great save!

Hugo Lloris maintains Spurs' three-goal lead with a diving stop to push away a shot from Xherdan Shaqiri, who had broken clear of the home defence.

That would at least have given Stoke a glimmer of hope.

    That's exactly what Tottenham needed.

For the second, it was a really good ball from Winks onto Alli, and then his ball through was even better.

Son looked like he'd made the task more difficult for himself when his touch took him away from goal, but his finish at the near post was excellent.

  19. Postpublished at 16:17 Greenwich Mean Time 9 December 2017

    Burnley 1-0 Watford

Tom Cleverley lines one up... over the bar.

Watford worked hard to create that opening, which was teed up for the midfielder on his left foot on the edge of the box, but he got right underneath it.

  20. GREAT SAVE!published at 16:16 Greenwich Mean Time 9 December 2017

    Huddersfield 2-0 Brighton

Big save by Mat Ryan as he somehow keeps out Tom Ince's poked effort from close range.

Huddersfield chairman Dean Hoyle leans over to Gareth Southgate and whispers something into his ear, making the England boss chuckle. Would love to know what he said.
