Huddersfield 2-0 Brighton
This is all over and the home fans know it. The flags and scarves are waving the stands.
Huddersfield 2-0 Brighton
That sums Brighton up. A cross from Bruno goes straight out of play. There'll be three minutes added on.
Huddersfield 2-0 Brighton
This is a classic 'run the clock down ploy'. David Wagner makes his third change with Kachunga replaced by Danny Williams. All three subs made in quick succession but all separately to waste as much time as possible.
Huddersfield 2-0 Brighton
And another sub from David Wagner. Tom Ince is given a great send-off as he is replaced by Joe Lolley for his Premier League debut.
Well deserved for Ince. That goal still proves illusive but he has been a threat all day.
Huddersfield 2-0 Brighton
There'll be no hat-trick for Steve Mounie today but the John Smith's Stadium stands to applaud his efforts nonetheless.
With five minutes left the striker is replaced by Laurent Depoitre.
Huddersfield 2-0 Brighton
End to end stuff now as Brighton press forward. Tom Ince fires another effort on goal but Mat Ryan saves his powerful drive. The home fans aren't frustrated by his lack of a clinical finish. "Ince will tear you apart, again," they sing.
Huddersfield 2-0 Brighton
Like London buses. Jonas Lossl has waited all afternoon for a save to make and has to make a second a minute after his first. It's regulation again as he plucks the ball out of the air above his left shoulder.
Huddersfield 2-0 Brighton
To be fair to Tom Ince he has been really lively today but still can't find that first goal for Huddersfield. His latest shot comes from a tight angle but rises narrowly over the crossbar.
At the other end Brighton have their first shot on target but it's a tame daisy cutter from distance by Jose Izquierdo. It's not their day.
Huddersfield 2-0 Brighton
Into the last 15 minutes we go. It doesn't seem likely but can Brighton find a way back into this game?
Huddersfield 2-0 Brighton
The Huddersfield support has almost been as impressive as the team's performance today. The chanting has been non stop and there is even more applause as Steve Mounie shoots wide in hunt of his hat-trick.
That's nice too. Izzy Brown is given a standing ovation as he is replaced by Tomer Hemed on his return to the John Smith's Stadium.
Huddersfield 2-0 Brighton
Brighton are the team that needs to press forward but still it's Huddersfield causing the problems. Captain Tommy Smith, who scored against Brighton here in February, curls one narrowly wide of the right post. That's the Terriers' full-back having an effort on goal when it should be Brighton looking to score. Really positive stuff from David Wagner's team.
Huddersfield 2-0 Brighton
This has been a very accomplished performance from Huddersfield so far. They are not allowing Brighton to create anything in the middle of the field and as a result Jonas Lossl is yet to be tested. To add to the visitors' frustrations, a free-kick is aimed into the box but is calmly collected by the Huddersfield 'keeper.
Huddersfield 2-0 Brighton
A second change for Brighton. Pascal Gross off, Jose Izquierdo on.
Huddersfield 2-0 Brighton
Huge appeals for a Huddersfield penalty as Steve Mounie tries to cross to Colin Quaner. The ball does seem to hit the hand of Lewis Dunk but that would have been very harsh.
Huddersfield 2-0 Brighton
More Huddersfield pressure and it's all coming down the right through Tommy Smith and Elias Kachunga. Kachunga gets a shot away from a tight angle but the effort is blocked by Mat Ryan. The home side really are building the pressure again and the fans are responding.
Huddersfield 2-0 Brighton
Gareth Southgate is in the stands watching on. Not too many performances from English players of note but he'll be welcomed back if things stay like this for Huddersfield I am sure.
Huddersfield 2-0 Brighton
Really, really good football from Huddersfield but still Tom Ince can't score. The ball is well-worked out to the right to Tommy Smith in space and he drives a wicked low cross between the back-tracking defenders and Mat Ryan. Tom Ince nips in but his attempt to flick the ball into the net is block at close range by Mat Ryan.
Huddersfield 2-0 Brighton
A first shot for Brighton but it goes way, way over. It's a tough chance for Davy Propper who is quickly closed down and has to hit the bouncing ball early but his shot is comfortably off target. Still, Brighton have improved after the break but their greater emphasis on attack is leaving space for Huddersfield.
Huddersfield 2-0 Brighton
Things just won't go for Tom Ince. The Huddersfield forward almost races through the centre of the Huddersfield defence but leaves the ball behind as he heads towards the penalty area. Moments later he scuffs a shot from inside the box when he could and probably should have done better.
