    Southampton v Arsenal (12:00 GMT)

No Theo Walcott for Arsenal against his former club. The England winger said he hoped he had given Arsene Wenger a "selection headache" after scoring in Arsenal's 6-0 win over BATE in the Europa League this week, but Walcott does not even make the bench.

Walcott was substituted with a tight calf, so perhaps that is keeping him out. Alexis Sanchez, Mesut Ozil and Alexandre Lacazette all start for the Gunners, while Jack Wilshere - who also impressed midweek - is on the bench.

Southampton make four changes, including Nathan Redmond returning to the starting line up. Pep will be delighted.

Man Utd v Man City (16:30 GMT)

    Owen Hargreaves
Former United and City midfielder on BBC Radio 5 live

Manchester United will need to get out of defence through Romelu Lukaku. Everyone said before came to the club that his hold up play was not good enough for a top, top player but in the last few weeks his hold up play has been much better.

He has brought others players into play and Manchester United need that so they can get players up the pitch. He could be the most important player in the game.

Man Utd v Man City (16:30 GMT)

    Jermaine Jenas
Former England midfielder on BBC Radio 5 live

If you'd asked me a month ago, I would have thought Manchester City could go to Old Trafford and win 4-0. Now, I can see United having the ability to win this game.

I look at the defensive line of City and what United have going forward. It depends how much of a gamble Mourinho wants to take.

The more pressure they can put on Man City's back line, that's how they'll win the game.

    Liverpool v Everton (14:15 GMT)

    Owen Hargreaves
Former Bayern Munich midfielder on BBC Radio 5 live

Why on earth do Liverpool get their full-backs so high up the field when they have such a good front four? The front line are as good as anyone. I think Jurgen Klopp has changed it since the Spurs game. The midfield protection sometimes isn’t there because they’re not defensively minded.

Everton will be happy to let Liverpool have 70% possession.

  9. 'Some of the best football in Europe'published at 10:30 Greenwich Mean Time 10 December 2017

    Liverpool v Everton (14:15 GMT)

    Rickie Lambert
Former Liverpool striker on BBC Radio 5 live

We haven’t lost at Anfield [in a derby] for 18 years. Hopefully that can carry on.

They’re playing some of the best football I’ve seen in years. It’s been an up and down season but I’m excited for the game. Liverpool are flying. Apart form Manchester City, they’re playing some of the best football in Europe.

The year I was at Liverpool, I didn’t play that long in both games - just coming on as a substitute. Just to be round the place, I witnessed as a fan, to be involved was brilliant. Both games finished in a draw that year.

The Sunday Times features a rare sight in recent years - a celebrating David Moyes.

West Ham won for the first time under the Scot with a terrific performance against Chelsea at London Stadium on Saturday.

Defeat also saw Blues boss Antonio Conte rule his side out of the title race, already trailing City by 11 points before the Manchester derby.

The Sunday Times also has the story of United boss Jose Mourinho calling City cynical. Ahem.

The Sunday Telegraph translates Sir Alex Ferguson's infamous "noisy neighbours" comment about Manchester City to the current rivalry between the club.

Pep Guardiola's City have plenty to make noise about this season, leading Jose Mourinho's Manchester United by eight points before today's derby.

Will the gap be five, eight or 11 points at the end of the day?
