  1. CLOSE!published at 15:25 Greenwich Mean Time 16 December 2017

    Brighton 0-0 Burnley

What a goal-line clearance from Phil Bardsley!

The Burnley defender rises high to stop Lewis Dunk's effort. He's taken one for the team there. Right on the noggin.

  2. goal

GOAL - Arsenal 1-0 Newcastlepublished at 15:23 Greenwich Mean Time 16 December 2017

    Mesut Ozil

    An excellent effort.

Mesut Ozil certainly knows how to hit them.

Alexis Sanchez's attempted volley comes off the back of a Newcastle defender and lands in the vicinity of the German midfielder who strikes one - sweet as a nut - from 15 yards past Rob Elliot.

    Classic strike.

GOAL - Watford 0-2 Huddersfieldpublished at 15:23 Greenwich Mean Time 16 December 2017

    Aaron Mooy

    Again, not a classic.

The ball from Collin Quaner appeared to hit Aaron Mooy from six yards out and trundle past keeper Heurelho Gomes.

    What a scoreline!

  4. CLOSE!published at 15:22 Greenwich Mean Time 16 December 2017

    Brighton 0-0 Burnley

Brighton launch a four-man attack and go so close to opening the scoring!

Anthony Knockaert takes a shot from inside the area and it hits the woodwork. The ball continues to ping around the box before Burnley eventually relieve some pressure.

This is a really positive spell of play from the hosts.

  5. CLOSE!published at 15:22 Greenwich Mean Time 16 December 2017

    Watford 0-1 Huddersfield

Richarlison - who's been in great goalscoring form for the Hornets this season (five in the league) - fires one over the bar from the angle. He was about four yards out.

The Hornets looking to hit back.

Not to be pedantic or anything but it's a power cut, not a power outage. We are not American.

  9. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 15:19 Greenwich Mean Time 16 December 2017

    Chelsea 0-0 Southampton

Southampton have been dealt an early injury blow.

Cedric Soares has had a run-in with the advertising hoardings, so he's been replaced by Mario Lemina.

It's absolutely fantastic from Willian, to create that chance. He doesn't get too many starts because of Eden Hazard, but Willian and Pedro seem to have a great understanding and they've shown it there.

  11. Postpublished at 15:17 Greenwich Mean Time 16 December 2017

    Chelsea 0-0 Southampton

After a lovely sweeping move from Chelsea involving Willian and Alonso, and the former takes a shot but skews it past the post.

Glenn Murray's header is stopped by Nick Pope with aplomb.

It was a lovely ball in from Brighton captain Bruno.

    Brighton 0-0 Burnley

Solly March sends in a lovely cross from the left into the box for Brighton, and young Charlie Taylor does well to head it away from a waiting Anthony Knockaert.

Brighton then earn a free-kick on the right. Knockaert sends it in from distance, Glenn Murray knocks it to Shane Duffy with his head but the Seagulls defender's volley is deflected away from goal.

  16. CLOSE!published at 15:13 Greenwich Mean Time 16 December 2017

    Arsenal 0-0 Newcastle

One player seemingly with a lot money in his meter is Alexis Sanchez, who smacks a shot over the bar from 15 yards with Newcastle's defence somewhat slow to react.

Moments later, Ainsley Maitland-Niles fires a low effort that causes the side-netting to ripple. It's only his second PL start.

Stoke City v West Ham (not a 15:00 GMT kick-off)

    Anything Stoke?

As you may or may not know, the Bet 365 stadium had a power outage.

The power's back on but we've had no official announcement as to when the match will start.

The fans have got Xmas shopping to do Stoke City!!

  18. A slow start for Chelseapublished at 15:11 Greenwich Mean Time 16 December 2017

    Chelsea 0-0 Southampton

    Pat Nevin

Chelsea have started slowly here, they could have easily gone a goal down after Ryan Bertrand's low cross, but no one from Southampton was there to knock it in, even after Gary Cahill's mis-control.

  19. Postpublished at 15:11 Greenwich Mean Time 16 December 2017

    Chelsea 0-0 Southampton

    A decent chance for Southampton.

Ryan Bertrand squares the ball into the box and Chelsea manage to scramble the danger away, despite some dilly-dallying from Gary Cahill and Thibaut Courtois.

  20. GREAT SAVE!published at 15:09 Greenwich Mean Time 16 December 2017

    Brighton 0-0 Burnley

Chris Wood draws a good low save from Brighton keeper Mat Ryan after leaping high over Shane Duffy to head downwards.

But the whistle has gone for a foul against Wood, who appears to have shoved Duffy in the back.
