United almost get in a muddle at the back as Ashley Young decides to shepherd the ball towards David de Gea.

The Spaniard sprints off his line, but James McClean is closing in, he can't get there as Young shoulder barges him to the deck.

Anywhere else and that is a free-kick, but inside the box the referee lacks courage to award a penalty.

    West Brom 0-2 Man Utd

It is often slow and ponderous football from Manchester United, but this is anything but and almost grab the third.

Antonio Valencia cuts onto his left foot and clips a cross into the box for Jesse Lingard, who nudges it on to his BFF Marcus Rashford.

The United man takes it first-time on the bounce, but skims his shot just wide of Ben Foster's goal.

Looking at the replay, West Brom defender Ahmed Hegazi has brushed Marcus Rashford's face with his palm when shielding the ball.

The Manchester United player takes exception to it and chases back at the Egyptian, getting in his face as to suggest it was a bit naughty.

It wasn't and the referee books Rashford for his reaction.

    Kevin Kilbane
Former West Brom winger on BBC Radio 5 live

Oliver Burke could be the one that could provide something for West Brom, they do not have somebody who they can rely on to do something special.

How they will stay up this season is to stay well organised, disciplined and trying to hurt sides on the break.

Crystal Palace are really well organised and have Wilfried Zaha in a free role, I do not see something like that for West Brom.
