    Arsenal 3-3 Liverpool

    Jermaine Jenas

If I was Arsene Wenger I would be looking to change Alex Iwobi, that's where I expect to see Danny Welbeck come on.

If Liverpool employed Klopp for all the first halves and Allardyce for the second halves we'd win the league every year.

Danny Welbeck is coming on, just to calm the game down a touch. Liverpool are back on the swingometer now, the momentum is with the men in the stewards' orange kit.

Fabian Pavez: 3-3 and more 19mins left. This game is the game of the season. More 3 or 2 goals to go. Shall We?

Elliott Gilmore: this is Sunday league football - wobbly goalies, drunk defenders and attackers that just shoot from anywhere

Jake: Two sides with poor defences but decent attack, I'm going for another 5 goals in the game, just gotta carry on watching

  5. Postpublished at 74 mins

    Arsenal 3-3 Liverpool

Friday night football hasn't really taken off since it arrived in the Premier League has it - but as a barometer for Christmas football this has been superb.

    Heavy metal football indeed.

More goals to come? I reckon so.

  6. 'Cech should've kept it out'published at 21:16 Greenwich Mean Time 22 December 2017

    Arsenal 3-3 Liverpool

    Jermaine Jenas
Former Tottenham midfielder on BBC Radio 5 live

Petr Cech has had a brilliant game, but when a keeper gets this much purchase on a ball - I know he has a lot of power on the ball - I can't help feel he should have kept that one out.

What an unbelievable game of football to watch - to clearly see this pendulum swing from one team's to favour to another team's favour, just on confidence.

An entertaining game it might be at the Emirates but proves that neither team will be close to challenging for the title until they sort their defences out

  8. goal

GOAL - Arsenal 3-3 Liverpoolpublished at 70 mins

    Roberto Firmino

There we go! Another one that the goalkeeper won't want to see again. Emre Can finds Roberto Firmino in an island of space on the edge of the area, the Brazilian's left-footed shot is full of power, Petr Cech gets two hands behind it, solidly, but all he can do is push it up and it goes into the opposite corner!

    Ludicrous game of football.

  9. 'All going through Ozil'published at 21:13 Greenwich Mean Time 22 December 2017

    Arsenal 3-2 Liverpool

    Jermaine Jenas
Former Tottenham midfielder on BBC Radio 5 live

That is Arsenal's best move of the game by a mile, clinical, precise, and it all went through Mesut Ozil.

  10. Postpublished at 70 mins

    Arsenal 3-2 Liverpool

Arsenal will go above Liverpool into the top four if they win this, and how damaging would a defeat from 2-0 up on the road be?

There are surely more goals to come though.

  11. CLOSE!published at 68 mins

    Arsenal 3-2 Liverpool

Almost four! That's good football as the Gunners sweep from left to right, Hector Bellerin overlaps and puts in a telling low ball which Ragnar Klavan slides in and puts over his own bar.

  12. 'This is why you come to games'published at 21:10 Greenwich Mean Time 22 December 2017

    Arsenal 3-2 Liverpool

    Jermaine Jenas
Former Tottenham midfielder on BBC Radio 5 live

From a spectator's point of view, it is unbelievable.

The emotions that these Arsenal fans are going through tonight, it is why they come to games.

Not an entirely wasted journey though Sandra. That's what we're on too

    Mince pie

For Goodness Sake, I only went into the kitchen to get a mince pie and make a cup of tea......and I missed FOUR goals!!!

    Arsenal 3-2 Liverpool

This is like a 5-a-side game. Arsenal have nobody in midfield as Philippe Coutinho dribbles past halfway line, four on four!

It comes to nothing but my word this game is stretched. It's all over the place, but it's a great watch.

  15. 'Liverpool should have scored five'published at 21:07 Greenwich Mean Time 22 December 2017

    Arsenal 3-2 Liverpool

    Jermaine Jenas
Former Tottenham midfielder on BBC Radio 5 live

    I'm going for 5-5!

Liverpool should have scored five goals today, and Arsenal have shown just how frail the defensive mindset of Liverpool is in this second half.

It just shows you what confidence and the fans getting on your side can do.

    Ian Shepherd: Crazy crazy game.

Fish Hailu: What a game this is? Unbelievable!

  17. CLOSE!published at 63 mins

    Arsenal 3-2 Liverpool

Arsenal have scored with every shot on target they've had tonight. Their three goals came in a four minute and 45-second window.

Just about long enough to brew a pot noodle. Chance at the other end now, Sadio Mane slamming a volley at the near post and it's saved by Petr Cech!

Still half an hour to go!

  18. 'Liverpool have completely fallen apart'published at 21:04 Greenwich Mean Time 22 December 2017

    Arsenal 3-2 Liverpool

    Jermaine Jenas
Former Tottenham midfielder on BBC Radio 5 live

Liverpool have completely fallen apart! They are screaming at each other now and Jurgen Klopp is on the touchline.

It is a fantastic finish from Mesut Ozil. This is a crazy game.

Arsenal have not been in this game at all, it should have been put to bed at half time. Jurgen Klopp has absolutely lost the plot here - he is screaming at his players.

  19. Postpublished at 61 mins

    Arsenal 3-2 Liverpool

    Wow - this is madness!

Can I just say that our own Phil Dawkes has been saying this will be 3-3 all night...

  20. 'A poor goalkeeping error'published at 21:03 Greenwich Mean Time 22 December 2017

    Arsenal 3-2 Liverpool

    Jermaine Jenas
Former Tottenham midfielder on BBC Radio 5 live

He has been having a nightmare all game, but what a strike from Granit Xhaka for the second goal.

The keeper has to do better - I cannot understand why he is not using two hands? It is a poor goalkeeping error, it is straight down the middle of the goal.

It moved around the lot the ball, but that's more of a reason to go with both hands.

This game has summed up Arsenal and Liverpool altogether.
