  1. GREAT SAVE!published at 23 mins

    Arsenal 0-0 Liverpool

Lovely move! James Milner starts it, Philippe Coutinho is involved and it is sent out to Andrew Robertson on the left. His cross is excellent this time, deep and whipped, Roberto Firmino is free beyond the back stick and his header is clawed out by Petr Cech.It was asking a lot to score from that angle but a good effort. The home fans growing restless.

    Arsenal 0-0 Liverpool

James Milner almost gets in after a neat one-two with Roberto Firmino but it's just about cut out by Laurent Koscielny. Liverpool are on top, but aren't finding a final pass at the moment.

Between the Arsenal backline and midfield they need to sort it out.

Philippe Coutinho is spending a lot of time in the gap, Arsenal haven't figured that out yet.

This pace can't carry on, surely. Take a touch and lose the ball at the moment, as Granit Xhaka whacks a pass 65 yards out of play...

  5. CLOSE!published at 15 mins

    Arsenal 0-0 Liverpool

Liverpool get Philippe Coutinho into the game for the first time and he fires a 25-yarder wide after a neat touch.

He's scored eight goals and made another seven in his last 10 away games. Wow.

    Arsenal 0-0 Liverpool

    Jermaine Jenas

Roberto Firmino didn't really help Sadio Mane, he took the player towards him rather than taking him away.

The game has not really settled down yet. The pitch seems very fast, but players are struggling to find their touch and it's a bit scrappier than I expected it to be.

    Arsenal 0-0 Liverpool

Sadio Mane gets away from Hector Bellerin but can't find Roberto Firmino before Mo Salah loses the ball on the other wing. It's high intensity, low on quality so far.

Both team's passing accuracy is around 75% which is low for top teams.

    James Milner is now on.

  10. Canaries host Bees in the Championshippublished at 19:54 Greenwich Mean Time 22 December 2017

    Norwich 0-0 Brentford

There's one game in the Championship tonight as 16th-placed Norwich host Brentford, who are three places above them in the table.

One minute in and the Bees have hit the woodwork, Ollie Watkins smacking an effort against the post.

You can follow live updates on that game here.

Jordan Henderson could be getting Christmas off - he's down in pain in midfield. I didn't see what happened but James Milner is already warming up.

    Arsenal 0-0 Liverpool

It was good all round - yes, Ainsley Maitland-Niles stumbled, but he read the fact that Mo Salah wanted to go down the line and stopped him.

Good and bad from Ainsley Maitland-Niles! The youngster covers the run in behind from the dangerous Mo Salah but then loses his footing and has to put it away for a panicked corner.

He read the run well though. A youngster, out of position, against one of the league's best players. Tester.

Arsenal force a corner - Mo Salah scored from an Arsenal corner earlier in the season of course - but nothing comes of it.

You have two managers that want to play on the front foot, go and entertain.

Arsenal seem like they want to isolate Dejan Lovren or Ragnar Klavan on the ball. That's where they see the mistakes - I think we'll see a lot more of that.

Still a few empty seats on the far side, maybe a few transport troubles on Mad Friday? It's a hectic start to the game, misplaced passes and touches all over the place.
