That's all from me folks. Head over here for all the reaction to today's Premier League games, including from Old Trafford.

  2. A point gained, but also two points droppedpublished at 17:01 Greenwich Mean Time 26 December 2017

    Manchester United 0-2 Burnley

Definitely a point gained for United, given how late they left that equaliser, but also two points dropped by Jose Mourinho's men.

They are 12 points behind leaders Manchester City, who play Newcastle on Wednesday.

  3. Thrilling comeback but....published at 17:00 Greenwich Mean Time 26 December 2017

    Man Utd 2-2 Burnley

Manchester United may have saved themselves from a defeat there but it is the Burnley fans who were singing at the end.

They came here expecting little and left with a point.

United stay second but as Jose Mourinho marched down the tunnel at the end, he would have known Manchester City could stretch their lead at the top to 15 points with victory at Newcastle tomorrow.

They have left it very late, but United have saved a point here - or, to be precise, Jesse Lingard has.

The ball drops to him on the edge of the area and he fires into the bottom corner. Nick Pope can do nothing to keep that one out.

Phil Bardsley and Marcus Rashford need treatment after a clash of heads but both are fine to continue.

It is backs to the wall stuff from Burnley. Man United with lots of pressure, but Burnley are coping with it OK right now.

United have had more than 76% of possession in the second half but the scoreline remains in Burnley's favour. The Clarets seem to get a head on every ball that comes into their box.

Rodney McCain: Last week Leicester played as if their lives depended on it; today it's Burnley's turn...when will those facing Manchester City try something likewise?

Dharma Djojonegoro: Mata has been generally useless again. Can we get two goal Mata please?

  11. YELLOW CARDpublished at 79 mins

    Manchester United 1-2 Burnley

Burnley striker Sam Vokes runs clear to chip home after the flag has gone up. Surely he knows what that means - yes, another booking.

Here come United again. Another corner - their 12th today. Again, Burnley clear.

    Manchester United 1-2 Burnley

Real urgency from United now - because time is running out.

Paul Pogba is dropping deep to get on the ball and try to make something happen, but Burnley have got numbers back and are supremely well organised too.

Moe Rahman: Last season Mourinho was not man enough to take Ibrahimovic off when he was playing terrible, and this season it's the same, but with Lukaku.

Shane O'Neill: That challenge by Bardsley on Mkhitaryan is normally a straight red for everyone else. Inconsistency with referees in this league is atrocious.

Paul Lummis: Again, absolutely atrocious officiating at Old Trafford - the ball is clearly out for a corner and the linesman is well out of position. Shockingly poor.

    Manchester United 1-2 Burnley

United are relentless in their pursuit of an equaliser and Burnley are getting pegged further and further back.

The Clarets are hanging on, though. Juan Mata finds some space in the area to go for a spectacular chip, but does not get enough on it and Nick Pope collects easily enough.

  15. All a bit frantic down therepublished at 16:30 Greenwich Mean Time 26 December 2017

    Man Utd 1-2 Burnley

Both managers are contesting virtually every decision now as Manchester United chase an equaliser and Burnley try to keep them out.

Fourth official Lee Mason has had his ear bent by United assistant boss Rui Faria, in addition to fielding complaints from Burnley boss Sean Dyche.

It's all getting a bit frantic and there is still a quarter of the game left.

    Manchester United 1-2 Burnley

Paul Pogba steps up, in almost the same spot that Steven Defour scored from earlier. He goes for the same corner of goal too... but his effort is slightly too high, and flies into the stand rather than the net.

Burnley keeper Nick Pope takes too long with his goal-kick for Martin Atkinson's liking, so that is another booking dished out. That is eight in total, and Burnley's fifth of the match.

    Manchester United 1-2 Burnley

Phil Bardsley is penalised for a late lunge on Henrikh Mkhitaryan, close to the edge of the Burnley area. That's a booking, and a shooting chance for Paul Pogba from this free-kick...

  19. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 66 mins

    Manchester United 1-2 Burnley

Belgium midfielder Steven Defour, scorer of that brilliant free-kick to put the Clarets 2-0 up, is going off to be replaced by Wales striker Sam Vokes.

  20. YELLOW CARDpublished at 65 mins

    Manchester United 1-2 Burnley

Johann Berg Gudmundsson is the latest player to go into Martin Atkinson's book, after stopping Henrikh Mkhitaryan from making headway by the Burnley byline.

Free-kick to United, in a dangerous position. Marcus Rashford whips it in... and it beats everyone before going out of play near the opposite corner flag.
