This looks like a completely different Sheffield Wednesday side to the one we saw for most of the first half.

Barry Bannan does well to work the ball into the box after a Sheffield Wednesday corner and Kieran Lee's strike cannons off a Sheffield United defender and away.

This is much better from the hosts and there's an appreciative roar from the home crowd.

One change for the second half, midfielder David Jones is off for Sheffield Wednesday and striker Lucas Joao is on.

One thing I must say is that there was a stark contrast between the opening 40 minutes and the five minutes that followed for the hosts.

After John Fleck's tremendous free-kick and the shambolic defending that built up to Sheffield United's second through Leon Clarke, the Owls have got back on track.

Gary Hooper did amazingly well to beat his man and fire in at the near post but they will need to make a breakthrough soon after the restart.

Prior to Gary Hooper's goal, you'd have said Sheffield United would be the happier team, but the hosts have halved the deficit at the break.

But can they go on and equalise and maybe win it?

Credit to the Sheffield Wednesday fans, they're still creating quite the atmosphere, but there is a sense of frustration amongst the Hillsborough faithful.

On the pitch, meanwhile, Steven Fletcher can't quite work his way on to a cross-pitch delivery and that kinda sums up their opening 20 minutes or so.

Surely they can get back into this!
