    St Johnstone v Hibernian (15:00)

Saints boss Tommy Wright brings in Stefan Scougall, who may have something to prove since he was discarded by Hibs as a youth. Aaron Comrie is the player dropping out from the line-up that started the 1-1 draw at Celtic Park.

Hibs welcome back speedy winger Martin Boyle from injury in what looks like a very attacking formation.

Efe Ambrose is in central defence in place of the injured Darren McGregor and Boyle takes over from Vykintas Slivka, who drops to the bench after his international exertions with Lithuania.

  7. Killie look for upturn in fortunespublished at 14:36

    Motherwell v Kilmarnock (15:00)

Kilmarnock have only managed one win in their previous 10 meetings with Motherwell and the Ayrshire side are yet to pick up a league victory from a run of four home games.

Will a change of scenery work in their favour today?

"The international break has allowed us to refresh our minds after the Hamilton game where we blew a two-goal lead and ended up drawing," said manager Lee McCulloch.

"We've worked hard over the last 10 days and we'll be going out to rectify what's happened during the first month of the season.

"I don't want to make excuses but there has been a few changes in the squad over the summer and we've also been a bit unfortunate as our performances don't merit having just one point on the board."

  8. Why change a winning team?published at 14:36

    Rangers v Dundee (15:00)

Rangers manager Pedro Caixinha on RangersTV: "We are very happy and satisfied with the squad we have. We have cover for all the positions, we have options, we have solutions, we have competitiveness.

"It's difficult to leave five players out plus one goalkeeper. This is the first 11 we have now. We used to say in Portugal, 'winning team so why change?' It's important to keep those associations with the players.

"Dundee's one team that plays positive football. It's important that we have teams that play like that. They cause you different problems rather than those that play long balls and you have to be aware of the second ball and the second wave. I think it's going to be an open game in that direction."

    Hearts v Aberdeen (15:00)

Hearts' Craig Levein has been talking to BBC Scotland ahead of his return to club management after a break of eight years.

"I am looking forward to today and it is good to start with such an important match," he said.

"The juices have started to flow again after being back on the training ground this week.

"I have felt a little bit of nerves of course.

"I am not 100% confident about what we're going to get today, but this week we have been stressing the old-fashioned playing for the jersey and I'm hoping we get plenty of that.

"Aberdeen are formidable opponents. But, if we want to go where we want to be, we have to win matches at home to sides like Aberdeen."

  16. Saints out to build on sizzling startpublished at 14:26

    St Johnstone v Hibernian (15:00)

St Johnstone boss Tommy Wright will want to get one over on his old Northern Ireland team-mate Neil Lennon today.

The Perth side are unbeaten in the league so far with 10 points from four outings - three points ahead of today's visitors.

"As a group, we don't look upon it as if we have done anything yet," he said. "We have made a good start but it certainly means we don't take our foot off the pedal.

"We need to keep working hard and doing the things that got us those 10 points. We know over the course of the season what you need to get into the top six.

"You probably have to look at 15 points every third so we have made a good start to that but the fact is that we want to get to 10 then 20 as quickly possible so we focus on the next game."
