You don't spend that kind of money to be a last 16 team - if PSG don't win, it will be a failure. I suspect they are going to win here by a couple of goals

  16. French fanciespublished at 19:36 British Summer Time 12 September 2017

    Celtic v Paris St-Germain (19:45)

There's a French flavour running through Brendan Rodgers' recipe of success at Celtic.

Last season's top scorer, Moussa Dembele, who misses out tonight through injury, was a team-mate of PSG's Adrien Rabiot and Presnel Kimpembe in the Paris club's academy between 2010 and 2012.

Like that trio, midfielder Olivier Ntcham, Celtic's summer signing from Manchester City, is a France Under-21 international.

In addition, Odsonne Edouard is on loan to Celtic from tonight's opponents and the 19-year-old striker scored against Hamilton Academical on Friday in his debut for the Glasgow club.

  18. Ralston up to the task - Rodgerspublished at 19:32 British Summer Time 12 September 2017

    Celtic v Paris St-Germain (19:45)

Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers, speaking to BT Sports: "Last season in the Champions League, we were set in the 4-3-3, so that worked well for us.

"There's a responsibility on everyone. If I didn't think young Tony Ralston was up to it, I wouldn't have put him in.

"He'll be protected by the team and that's important."
