Gotta love a penalty shootout to round off a night of cup action (although I'll let Burnley fans off if they don't feel the same).
We've lost five Premier League teams from the Carabao Cup tonight. Burnley, Brighton, Huddersfield, Liverpool and Stoke are outta here.
Bristol City and Leeds have a scalp attached to their belt.
We go again tomorrow.
Burnley 2-2 Leeds (3-5 pens)
It has been a long night for Leeds and Burnley and their fans but a very happy one for those clad in white. The 2,000+ away fans at Turf Moor are having a whale of a time now.
Stuart Dallas
Dallas thumps home confidently and Leeds go through!
Ezgjan Alioski
Alioski sends it high into the net.
Dallas can win this now for Leeds.
James Tarkowski
It stays with Burnley but Tarkowski's effort is too near the keeper and SAVED.
Leeds have two to win it.
Robbie Brady
Burnley now, the keeper guesses the right way but Brady scores, smashing it into the corner.
Mateusz Klich
Leeds again and Klich slots the ball home - as cool as you like.
Pablo Hernandez
Hernendez tucks it right into the corner for Leeds.
Ashley Barnes
No mistake. Barnes sends the keeper the wrong way. 100% for Burnley.
Back to Leeds now after the ABBA format.
Chris Wood
Wood smashes high into the net for Burnley.
Pierre-Michel Lassoga
Lasogga drives the ball into the left corner.
Formalities done. The kicks will take place in front of the Burnley fans. The away side will go first.
The new penalty system sees team A followed by team B - before team B goes again. Team A would then get two successive penalties, a little like the tie-break in tennis, and so on until there is a winner.
A coin will still be tossed to decide who goes first.
Burnley 2-2 Leeds
All the drama is going to be via penalties. A superb 120 minutes ends. Bring on the madness.
Burnley 2-2 Leeds
Pablo Hernandez lashes a shot over the bar from the edge of the box for Leeds. Just the one minute of added time. Looks like penalties.
Burnley 2-2 Leeds
Late change for Burnley. Ashley Westwood off, Steven Defour on. A penalty taker by any chance? Last minute of the extra 30.
Burnley 2-2 Leeds
Just the one game offering us the possibility of the drama of penalties. Two minutes of extra-time remain at Turf Moor.
Wolves 1-0 Bristol Rovers
All over and Wolves are in the hat for the fourth-round draw.
Bournemouth 1-0 Brighton
Bournemouth sneak through. Joshua King's goal is the difference on the south coast.
