Pop legend Madonna is enjoying Portugal's performance this evening.
Portugal 2-0 Switzerland
Switzerland have sent on their young striker Breel Embolo and he has an instant impact, starting a flowing move which ends with Haris Seferovic touching a volley just wide.
A goal now would make life interesting...
Netherlands 2-0 Sweden
The Dutch still need another five goals against Sweden but Liverpool's Georginio Wijnaldum has just forced a smart save from Robin Olsen with a sweetly-struck volley after Bas Dost's knockdown.
Netherlands are 2-0 up, but need an incredible last half hour to keep their World Cup hopes alive.
Portugal 2-0 Switzerland
A draw is enough for Switzerland to win the group but they have not shown any signs at all of being capable of scoring twice. They have a good counter-attack with numbers forward but Admir Mehmedi's cross is terrible. Out for a throw.
France 2-1 Belarus
France are through even if they lose as it stands, with Sweden also losing, and everyone knows it. The second half has been very slow to get going.
Who would make a world XI for players not going to the World Cup?
Darren Potts: Missing World Cup XI (currently) Oblak, Aurier, Van Dijk, Williams, Alaba, Ramsey, Wijnaldum, Pjanic, Bale, Mahrez, Aubameyang.
Elliott Almqvist: Missing WC XI: Oblak, Alaba, van Dijk, Bailly, Aurier, Robben, Calhanoglu, Mkhitaryan, Bale, Dzeko, Aubameyang.
Billy Boy: Team could be built around Joe Allen in midfield, the Welsh Pirlo.
Andre Silva
Lovely goal! The best move of the match and Portugal now have a commanding lead! A win tonight puts them into the World Cup finals and that could be the game done.
It's a cracking move too, Joao Moutinho picks out Bernardo Silva onside and inside the area, he has a clutch of bodies between him and the goal but picks out Andre Silva at the far post. His first touch is not good but he keeps his cool and slots into the open net!
Portugal 1-0 Switzerland
He's been as quiet as he gets but there's a shot on goal from Cristiano Ronaldo. He picks the ball up 30 yards from goal and winds up, but his left-footed effort is miles high and wide.
Portugal 1-0 Switzerland
Portugal forward Andre Silva has got away with two or three crude challenges and he is now on the receiving end as Swiss captain Stephan Lichtsteiner appears to tread on his hand on the floor. Referee Cuneyt Cakir lets it slide.
Who would make a world XI for players not going to the World Cup?
Kartik Venkat: Klavan and Van Dijk, LFC's centre-back pairing next season, will be at Melwood, not Russia.
Thomashollern: I'll miss Leigh Griffiths for his free kicks and his, em,,,unusual celebrations!
Matt: My World XI Absentees 2018 (so far) Oblak - Aurier, Bailly, Van Dijk, Alaba - Mhikitaryan, Ramsey, Hamsik - Bale, Dzeko, Robben.
Portugal 1-0 Switzerland
Switzerland need a goal to win the group and avoid a place in the play-offs. They look a good, tidy side, but they do look to be lacking a proper goal threat up front.
Captain Stephan Lichtsteiner wins a free-kick with a strong run down the right and Xherdan Shaqiri hits one well enough but it's easy for Rui Patricio.
Portugal 1-0 Switzerland
Portugal make space well with a good move to send Manchester City man Bernardo Silva into space on the right, but his cross is poor and lands on the top of the net.
Portugal 1-0 Switzerland
The second-halves are under way. Portugal are 45 minutes away from winning the group, Switzerland are one goal away from doing the same.
France 2-1 Belarus
That's a good XI. Quarter-finals?
Here we go then, France are back out, 45 minutes away from booking their passage to Russia.
Who would make a world XI for players not going to the World Cup?
Nd: Pencil in Mkhitaryan for a midfield berth.
Jeremy Leese: Missing World Cup XI: Oblak; Aurier, Toprak, Bailly, Alaba; Yarmolenko, Mkhitaryan, Naby Keita, Robben; Bale; Aboubakar.
Can anyone do any better than Jeremy's selection? You know what to do, tweet us using the hashtag #bbcfootball
Who would make a world XI for players not going to the World Cup?
Mario Stojanac: Has to be Jan Oblak (Slovenia) in goal?
Matt Friday: Other than Bale, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang must be the best player definitely not going to Russia so far.
Scott McPheators: A few players definitely not making the plane to Russia, Gareth Bale, David Alaba, Hakan Calhanoglu, Andriy Yarmolenko, Kevin Strootman, Henrik Mhikitaryan, Yevhen Konoployanka.
