Rival strikers Louis Moult and Alfredo Morelos have been in the wars.

Moult was left with a cut above his eye by what looked like an accidental elbow from Rangers defender Fabio Cardoso.

Meanwhile, Morelos has fallen out of the game after a heavy but fair tackle by Charles Dunne.

There are spaces down the flanks, with Rangers exposing Motherwell's back three, who are not handling it well at all. It was chance after chance for Rangers, but they have not had the quality to finish and it was Ryan Jack who had to clear off their line

  4. HALF-TIME Rangers 0-0 Motherwellpublished at 15:17 British Summer Time 22 October 2017

An intriguing and action-packed first 45 minutes draws to a close and you have to wonder how we are still without a goal.

Rangers have been the dominant force, but it is their goalkeeper, Jak Alnwick, who has had to make the best save and Motherwell also came closest to scoring when Cedric Kipre had a shot cleared off the line by Ryan Jack.

Still all to play for and it is still no clearer who will join Celtic in the final on 26 November.
