    Rangers v Motherwell (14:30)

Motherwell manager Stephen Robinson is so happy with the way things are going for his side that he sticks by the same team - and bench - that defeated Hamilton Accies in last weekend's Lanarkshire derby.

It means there is no place of Deimantas Petravicius despite the Lithuania striker being back in training following injury.

  3. Alnwick and Jack start for Rangerspublished at 13:43 British Summer Time 22 October 2017

    Rangers v Motherwell (14:30)

While the continued absence of Kenny Miller had been widely anticipated, the news that Wes Foderingham has been replaced with Jak Alnwick in Rangers' goal was perhaps not.

However, the 24-year-old signed from Port Vale in the summer has played the previous two rounds in the League Cup and manager Pedro Caixinha is merely sticking by his choice for the knock-out games.

Ryan Jack's return to the midfield from suspension was also predicted and Jason Holt is the man to make way.

  4. Miller absent again for Rangerspublished at 13:37 British Summer Time 22 October 2017

    Rangers v Motherwell (14:30)

There's no Kenny Miller in Rangers' match-day squad for a third match running amid doubts over the striker's future at Ibrox.

His agent, David Baldwin, went public on social media to criticise the club for failing to douse speculation that the 37-year-old was being blamed for what manager Pedro Caixinha described as leaks from the dressing-room.

Miller has been back training with the first team, but Caixinha - who last week said the veteran former Scotland forward had been carrying a hamstring injury - this week refused to entertain any inquiries about Miller, period.

  6. Dembele bowls out Hibspublished at 13:35 British Summer Time 22 October 2017

    Rangers v Motherwell (14:30)

Celtic overcame tired legs and bruised egos after their midweek Champions League defeat by Bayern Munich to win the battle of the greens at Hampden on Saturday.

Two goals from unlikely goal hero Mikael Lustig appeared to have put paid to Hibs' threat, but a dodgy penalty, converted by ex-Hoops striker Anthony Stokes, brought the side managed by former Celtic boss Neil Lennon back into the game.

However, two goals from substitute Moussa Dembele were enough to extend Celtic's unbeaten domestic run to a whopping 60 games and ensure yet another cup final for Brendan Rodgers' side.

  7. Can Motherwell prevent Old Firm final?published at 13:30

    Rangers v Motherwell (14:30)

Holders Celtic lie in wait after they continued their majestic dominance of the domestic scene with a 4-2 dismissal of Hibernian's undoubted threat yesterday.

But who will join them in the Scottish League Cup final on 26 November?

Motherwell and Rangers go head-to-head in today's second semi-final, again at Hampden Park.

Pedro Caixinha's Ibrox side are most people's favourites to ensure the competition will climax with a Glasgow derby, but Stephen Robinson's Well have already confounded the pundits this season and it would be no surprise if they did so again.
