There is still more to come from the English Football League this weekend, with a stuttering Leeds United looking to end their four-game losing run when they host sixth-placed Middlesbrough on Sunday.

So, with the last of 31 EFL games done for the day, Derby pick up a Championship point at Craven Cottage to move back to seventh in the table. A share of the spoils leaves Fulham 20th in the table.

And now for a quick recap of today's Championship action.

• Wolves withstand heavy second-half pressure from Reading to win 2-0 at the Madejski Stadium and return to the top of the Championship table.
• Cardiff City remain third thanks to a comfortable 2-0 home victory over Brentford.
• Adam Matthews' fortunate goal at the start of the second half gives Sunderland a 2-2 draw against Millwall.
• Aston Villa come from behind to win at QPR thanks to goals from Albert Adomah's either side of half-time.
• Struggling Birmingham win at home against Nottingham Forest, while the matches at Hull, Norwich and Sheffield Wednesday all end in draws.

Matej Vydra's second-half goal was enough to rescue a point for Derby against a Fulham side who had plenty of chances to win it.

Derby goalscorer Matej Vydra told Sky Sports: "It's a very good point. It's hard to come here. First half they played well, but second half I scored and we are very happy. The goal is for Tom Lawrence because he did well and I had an easy finish."

Fulham midfielder Tom Cairney told Sky Sports: "It's so tight [in the league]. Towards Christmas we really need to pick up points and go on a run like we did last season."

The final minute.

It's all Fulham.

Denis Odoi has two cracks at smashing in a winner. He has a fierce strike blocked and moments later crashes another long-range effort well wide.

There will be three minutes of added time.

Tom Cairney is furious. The Fulham midfielder should have had a corner when he cut inside and his 20-yard strike was deflected behind.

It was only a tiny nick but wasn't spotted.

Derby's Chris Martin gets the ball on the right flank, the boos by the home fans tell you that, and he wins a corner.

It comes to nothing but it did relieve some pressure on the Rams defence.

Fulham are back on the front foot again.

Derby have been vastly improved in the second half, but with time running out will they settle for a point that would mean it's five games unbeaten on the road?

They are really struggling to retain possession.

I am losing count of the number of times Fulham get to the byeline and send in a cross at pace that either eludes everyone or is cleared.

Floyd Ayite is the latest man to join the club.

The always busy Johnny Russell comes on for Tom Lawrence.

Floyd Ayite smashes an effort well over the bar from 12 yards. He should have done better with that.

More patient approach play sees Ryan Fredericks freed up on the right.

He has been superb in attack for Fulham and fizzes in a wicked cross that Aboubakar Kamara tries to flick in but can only knock it on to his left foot and the danger is cleared.

That's lovely from Fulham, zipping the ball around on the edge of Derby area. Floyd Ayite is at the heart of it and ends up firing a ball right across the Derby six-yard area.

There's no one in the box to apply a finishing touch though.

Craig Forsyth then has to make a really important clearance after another impressive Fulham move.

The hosts are building pressure.

A double change for Derby.

Chris Martin comes on up front and his arrival is not well appreciated by the home fans, who remember his eagerness to cut short his loan spell at Craven Cottage last season.

Andreas Weimann also makes his way onto the pitch.

Straight down the other end and it's Fulham's turn to threaten, Chris Baird having to make a brilliant headed clearance from almost under his own bar.

Tom Cairney then almost creates some space with a classy run but there are simply too many defenders in the Fulham man's way.

The game's getting nicely stretched now.
