  1. YELLOW CARDpublished at 32 mins

    Arsenal 0-0 Tottenham

Excellent dummy spitting from Alexis Sanchez as he makes a run in behind but Aaron Ramsey doesn't read the quick one and doesn't pass it. Sanchez actually hops in the air, springbok style. Fuming.

Granit Xhaka is now booked for his third offence.

    Arsenal 0-0 Tottenham

    Bradley Allen
Ex-QPR striker at Emirates Stadium for BBC Radio London

For the past 10 minutes Tottenham have been hanging on.

Arsenal are expending a lot of energy here. They are really going for it. They realise that physically they have to compete out there.

Del Dude: Mike Dean is explaining to Granit Xhaka this isn't WrestleMania.

Don Uorri: Spurs can’t keep hold of the ball. Just a matter of time before Arsenal score.

Paul Collins: I thought Kane and Alli were injured? Pathetic. Don't want play England friendlies then they shouldn't be picked for the World Cup.

Not a great afternoon together so far for Spur's key men Dele Alli and Harry Kane as they struggle to find a way through the impressive Arsenal back line.

They've only had two touches each in the box so far.

    Arsenal 0-0 Tottenham

Arsenal in behind with Mesut Ozil, again it's almost a tap-in in the middle but again it's well defended, Eric Dier this time stretching to cut it out!

This started well but has since degenerated into a bit of a mess. Not much quality on show so far but given the tension and importance of the occasion that may not be so surprising.

Hugo Lloris is as quick off his line as any keeper and he has to be too as Davinson Sanchez's backpass sells him well short! Good keeping. Both sides still jittery on the ball.

  8. 'Brilliant play from Bellerin'published at 12:56 Greenwich Mean Time 18 November 2017

    Arsenal 0-0 Tottenham

    Matthew Upson
Former Arsenal defender at Emirates Stadium for 5 live Sport

It was an outstanding pass from Ramsey. It was almost too good that Lacazette couldn't keep up with the play excellent play from Arsenal, and it was brilliant play from Bellerin.

    Arsenal 0-0 Tottenham

Davinson Sanchez really muscled Alexandre Lacazette out of the game there. Arsenal having a good spell though as Alexis Sanchez picks up the second ball from a corner but wastes it. He was inside the area and didn't know what to do with it.

Granit Xhaka is lucky not to be the first man in the book for chopping down Moussa Sissoko.

  10. 'That should have been the first goal'published at 12:52 Greenwich Mean Time 18 November 2017

    Arsenal 0-0 Tottenham

    Bradley Allen
Ex-QPR striker at Emirates Stadium for BBC Radio London

What a move! The best of the game so far.

A ball from Koscielny out to the left, Ramsey's past was well-placed, the overlapping full-back could have done no more and Lacazette should have scored.

He hurt himself in the process but really that should have been the first goal of the game, and it should have gone to the home side.

  11. CLOSE!published at 18 mins

    Arsenal 0-0 Tottenham

What a midfielder Mousa Dembele is. He takes the ball under pressure and beats three men in red through a combination of brute strength and silky touch. What do we think the best midfield three is for Spurs?

Arsenal then come close to the opener! Aaron Ramsey puts a fine ball in behind Ben Davies to find Hector Bellerin, his first-time cross is a gem and Alexandre Lacazette is sandwiched out of it in the goalmouth. He took a kick there too.

  12. Postpublished at 16 mins

    Arsenal 0-0 Tottenham

Moussa Sissoko does well down the Tottenham right, chopping inside to find Dele Alli inside the penalty area. He finds a yard and miskicks a shot across the face of goal, a miscue which very nearly finds Harry Kane at the far post.

    Spurs looking good.

  13. Postpublished at 15 mins

    Arsenal 0-0 Tottenham

Deano has made a solid start, nothing too outlandish yet. The game is frantic, Arsenal booming an aimless long ball downfield, Jan Vertonghen then returning the favour and Harry Kane surprisingly finding himself onside. He can't link up with Dele Alli though.

    Arsenal 0-0 Tottenham

    Bradley Allen
Ex-QPR striker at Emirates Stadium for BBC Radio London

    It's a dicey game already!

Arsenal are being fiercely encouraged by their crowd, but you feel if Spurs can find that little bit of quality on the break they will punish the Gunners.

  16. Postpublished at 10 mins

    Arsenal 0-0 Tottenham

Dele Alli and Laurent Koscielny swap paint in a clash of heads but they're both ok, as the feisty start continues.

Arsenal snap into the tackle and find Sead Kolasinac on the overlap. He makes things happen - good ball in but Alexandre Lacazette's first touch betrays him.

    Arsenal 0-0 Tottenham

    Matthew Upson

It was an interesting build-up to the game. Both teams pressing high.

Arsenal really look to be matching up, but it's very much an even match at the moment.

Harry Kane is wearing a strapping around his right thigh - a legacy of the hamstring injury that kept him out of England's friendlies with Germany and Brazil - but he has still made a lively start for Spurs, testing Petr Cech early on.

Typically boisterous atmosphere for this game and some rain before kick-off has made the surface very slick.

  19. 'High, wide and handsome'published at 12:37 Greenwich Mean Time 18 November 2017

    Arsenal 0-0 Tottenham

    Bradley Allen
Ex-QPR striker at Emirates Stadium for BBC Radio London

That was a chance for Lacazette. Sanchez, unselfishly, served Lacazette who turned onto his favoured right foot. You'd expect the Frenchman to hit the target from there but his shot was high, wide and handsome.

Another mix up at the back, from Arsenal this time, allows Harry Kane a sniff of goal but his shot is straight at Petr Cech.

At the other end Mesut Ozil is into the area but Mike Dean gives a foul against the German. Soft.

It's riddled with errors and half chances so far. Lovely stuff.
