Boos at St Mary's as Leicester score a third!

Andy King turns in Harry Magurie's shot at the far post. Southampton are all over the place in defence.

  2. CLOSE!published at 20:22 Greenwich Mean Time 13 December 2017

    Man Utd 0-0 Bournemouth

So far, Manchester United are not serving up the sort of response their fans would like after the Manchester derby defeat. In fact, it is Bournemouth who go closest to opening the scoring as Charlie Daniels is allowed to run through the United defence and get a shot off on goal.

You can play three, four, five, six, seven at the back and they will still beat you. Pep has them playing as close to that great Barcelona side as anyone ever has. It’s so exciting to watch, but the preparation and discipline from the players on the training ground – there’s a huge appreciation of that.

    West Ham 0-0 Arsenal

It's pretty dull at the London Stadium.

The only shot on target came from Alexis Sanchez earlier on, and it was a tame effort from the Arsenal forward.

    Southampton 0-2 Leicester

    Phil McNulty
BBC Sport chief football writer at St. Mary's

"Are You Glad You Sacked Puel?" is the taunt from Leicester City's fans in the direction of the increasingly frustrated Southampton support.

It's turning into a filthy night on and off the pitch for Saints - a torrential downpour and a defence that is being ripped to shreds every time Leicester come forward.

    Tottenham 0-0 Brighton

Serge Aurier makes a decent run into the box for Spurs before his shot is blocked by the wonderfully-named Gaetan Bong.

Harry Kane then has an effort stopped by the feet of the keeper Mat Ryan and sees his follow-up effort go wide of the target.

Marko Arnautovic is only just offside – only half a body in front – but it was a great header. That’s what West Ham have to do, get balls into the box.

Amrul Choudhury: David Silva. Swansea and everyone can go home now

Carl Jackson: When Mahrez plays well, Leicester play well. They’re only 5 points off a Champions League spot - currently held by Burnley. If he can produce the form we know he can for the next 6 months it could be even tighter up there!

The Premier League leaders are in control.

All too easy as Kevin de Bruyne whips in a fierce free-kick from the left, Bernando Silva leaves it and the Swansea defence is static as the ball lands in the back of the net.

    Liverpool 0-0 West Brom

    Robert FirminoImage source, Reuters

It has been a long time coming but the first chance at Anfield is a real peach.

Mohamed Salah's teasing low cross from the right wing, cuts out Philippe Coutinho in the middle, but is very nearly turned in at the far post by Roberto Firmino.

The Brazilian's side-foot effort slips just a couple of centimetres outside of Ben Foster's far post.

A very happy return to St Mary's for Leicester boss Claude Puel as his side double their lead.

Christian Fuchs' shot from a corner is not cleared and Shinji Okazaki pounces on the loose ball inside the box to slam home.

Puel thumps the air in delight.

Message to Southampton Board: 1 season of Puel: finish 8th in League, major trophy finalists without conceding a goal. Puel now less than a 3rd of season in charge at Leicester and now winning at St Mary’s and higher in league! Enough said

It's been end-to-end and now Everton break the deadlock!

Dominic Calvert-Lewin's ball from the right is floated in, Aaron Lennon climbs higher than the Newcastle defence to head down.

Karl Darlow makes a save but Everton captain Wayne Rooney reacts quickly to stab the ball home from close range.

    Newcastle 0-0 Everton

Matt Ritchie is well up for this. The Newcastle winger smacks a powerful effort from the edge of the box and it hits the bar and bounces away.

Just before, Everton had had their best chance when Cuco Martina's lovely ball in just evaded Dominic Calvert-Lewin.

    Hang on....

GOAL - Swansea 0-1 Man Citypublished at 20:11 Greenwich Mean Time 13 December 2017

    David Silva (27 mins)

David Silva - the master of being in the right place at the right time! For the third Premier League game in a row he pops up from nowhere to strike, this time ghosting in to meet Bernando Silva's ball into the box.

It came from poor defending by Swansea, who gave the ball away just outside their own area. Can't be doing that against this City side.
