  1. CLOSE!published at 21:24 Greenwich Mean Time 20 December 2017

    Bristol City 1-1 Manchester United

Sergio Romero has had a dodgy day in the office. He's usually very solid but hasn't looked at the races tonight. He comes to punch a long throw, gets nowhere near it and the totemic Aden Flint beats him to the ball, heading just wide into a now vacant net from about 15 yards out...

Six of Bristol City’s past nine games have ended 2-1, including the past three in a row, all of which were Robins wins.

Bobby Reid has been impressive. He's a workaholic along the front line.

He takes every opportunity to stretch the game and hasn't stopped tonight. I bet he has good stats.

Tom Knock: Never a foul on Pogba. Bristol City should feel hard done by.

Donal Power: No matter what result it will end up Bristol City deserve credit.

Jon: Imagine subbing a £90m player on for another £90m player against Bristol City hahahahaha I'm actually in tears

Joe Bryan's screamer will live long in the memory at Ashton Gate but he has to get back to defensive basics, tracking Marcus Rashford's run well to stop a flowing Manchester Unietd move.

Jose Mourinho is not happy with someone down there.

  6. CLOSE!published at 21:20 Greenwich Mean Time 20 December 2017

    Chelsea 1-0 Bournemouth

That is close! Jordon Ibe is played in into the area, he hits it early and hits it well but it snakes just wide of the far corner with Willy Caballero beaten.

  7. When's the semi-final draw?published at 21:18 Greenwich Mean Time 20 December 2017

The shortest of all draws - the semi-final draw - takes place after the game at Bristol City. So it could be extra-time or penalties dependent.

The ties will take place over two legs with the first matches scheduled to be played the week commencing 8 January and the reverse fixtures the week commencing 22 January.

  9. SUBSTITUTION - Lukaku onpublished at 21:18 Greenwich Mean Time 20 December 2017

    Bristol City 1-1 Manchester United

Jose Mourinho sends on Romelu Lukaku but it's as well as, not instead of, Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

Daley Blind is the man to make way.

  10. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 21:18 Greenwich Mean Time 20 December 2017

    Chelsea 1-0 Bournemouth

Chelsea have sent on Alvaro Morata now as well for the last 15 minutes. Bournemouth have had a good half but have nothing to show for it at this stage.

Reminder - we will have extra time if the scores are level.

That was just hit with too much strength by Zlatan, who had been pretty quiet. The wall didn’t do its job. Luke Steele won’t have seen it until very late.

Tremendous power in that. The keeper had no chance with it.

Lukaku was about to come on and still is.

GOAL - Bristol City 1-1 Manchester Unitedpublished at 21:14 Greenwich Mean Time 20 December 2017

    Zlatan Ibrahimovic (58 mins)

That's not a bad strike either! The holders are level as Zlatan Ibrahimovic has his first goal of the season, the first with his new knee.

Question marks will be aimed at keeper Luke Steele but Zlatan doesn't half get hold of a free-kick from about 25 yards out, flashing a low shot around the wall and in with the aid of a deflection.

Bristol City can't sit back now. If they do that then United can get back into it.

They need to carry on the way they're playing.

Bristol City are playing with a little bit of a swagger at the moment. Will the manager bring a defensive player on and take a forward off? I'd be fascinated to see the manager's strategy.

    Joe Bryan again!

Another flowing move from the hosts, down the right this time, ends with a Bobby Reid stepover and Bryan curls a shot, right-footed, at Sergio Romero.
