    Salomon Rondon (50 mins)

    West Brom have lift off!

Chris Brunt's ball over the top lands perfectly for Salomon Rondon, who finishes cleanly underJack Butland.

Rondon had had so many chances prior to this. He deserved that goal.

    West Ham 1-1 Newcastle

Marko Arnautovic a whisker away from regaining the lead for his side as he tries his luck from the edge of the area, bending a low strike just wide of the far post.

    Swansea 0-0 Crystal Palace

Swansea have conceded seven goals in their last two games so while they may not be offering much attacking threat, they will be pleased with their defending so far in this game.

Crystal Palace, who have scored at least two goals in their last three games, begin the second half on the front foot but can't find a way through the Swansea back line.

    Manchester City 1-0 Bournemouth

We are now under way at Manchester City. Neither side have made any changes, so Andrew Surman will continue for Bournemouth despite picking up a shoulder injury.

The Cherries have to leap into action straight away, as Steve Cook clears the danger away from David Silva in the box.

    Fine margins.

Jack Butland saves brilliantly from Solomon Rondon at one end to stop West Brom equalising then Maxim Choupo-Moting's cool finish from Joe Allen's pass doubles Stoke City's lead seconds later and right on half-time.

It meant the Stoke players walked off at half-time with cheers ringing in their ears and West Brom's to loud, angry jeering from their supporters.

  9. City ahead... but Bournemouth's hopes still alivepublished at 15:53 Greenwich Mean Time 23 December 2017

    Manchester City 1-0 Bournemouth

    Chris Bevan
    BBC Sport at Etihad Stadium

Manchester City have been subdued rather than scintillating so far but they still go in at the break a goal to the good, and halfway to their 17th straight league win, without having ever really hit their stride.

But the Bournemouth fans, who have travelled more than 250 miles to get here, are still making plenty of noise - and for good reason.

On both their previous visits here in the top flight, they were as good as beaten by half-time - trailing 2-0 last season and 4-1 in 2015-16 - today, however, they are very much still in the game.

Gareth Barry is dispossessed, and Stoke go on the charge.

Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting rounds keeper Ben Foster, goes from left foot to right foot and then slots home with a crisp finish.

    Manchester City 1-0 Bournemouth

This doesn't look like good news for Bournemouth. Andrew Surman has walked off holding his shoulder.

They've already been forced into one change after Junior Stanislas' injury.

We'll wait and see if he makes it back on after treatment.

    West Ham 1-1 Newcastle

This game reminds me of Arsenal versus Liverpool last night in that both midfields appear to have knocked off for Christmas. The positive outcome of that is the game rapidly swings from one end of the pitch to the other.

Lots and lots of chances but no further goals since the two inside the first 10 minutes.

  19. GREAT SAVE!published at 15:44 Greenwich Mean Time 23 December 2017

Super stretching save from Jack Butland to deny Baggies striker Salomon Rondon.

Another chance gone amiss for the visitors.

  20. Postpublished at 15:42 Greenwich Mean Time 23 December 2017

    Southampton 1-0 Huddersfield

How are Southampton not further ahead? They've been all over Huddersfield since going ahead and a colossal Jonas Lossl error should have resulted in a second for the Saints.

The Huddersfield keeper hit his clearance from outside the area straight into the Nathan Redmond, Charlie Austin got to the loose ball but took too long to get his shot off, allowing Lossl time to get back into his goal.
