Charlie Austin and Huddersfield keeper Jonas Lossl go for a ball into the box. Lossl is there first and Austin's stray boot hits Lossl square in the nose. The Denmark international is bleeding, Austin is protesting his innocence but it does look like he left his boot where it didn't need to be.

The first 20 minutes here had a very familiar feel to Brighton's first-half performance against Burnley last week, playing really well but unable to get the ball in the back of the net and you do wonder whether Chris Hughton might go shopping for a striker in the New Year sales. He's opted to start Tomer Hemed today with Glenn Murray on the bench but they do lack a bit of pace in attack and they don't score enough goals from midfield either.

Just when the home fans were starting to get a bit frustrated, Sergio Aguero gets them off their seats in celebration - that was his 100th goal for City at Etihad Stadium, another landmark, bringing the familiar chant of "Serggggio" from the stands.

We could see another century here today by the way - City now need two more goals to reach 100 in the league in 2017. They do have two more games after this one before the year is out, though... if they need them.

The usual suspects - David Silva and Leroy Sane - link up well, with Raheem Sterling waiting in the wings.

Sane squares the ball across the box from the left and Cherries keeper Asmir Begovic smothers it.

Chance for West Ham as the lively Arthur Masuaku produces some neat footwork outside the box, opening up a bit of space for himself before shooting low at goal, but Rob Elliot is behind it.

Connor Goldson is waiting at the backpost to get his head on a corner, but Watford keeper Heurelho Gomes gets himself in a good position and it goes wide of the post.

Good chance to equalise for Huddersfield as Florent Hadergjonaj pings another excellent ball into the box for Christopher Schindler, who is unmarked, but the Terriers skipper puts his header wide.

Huddersfield boss David Wagner screams in frustration. He knows that was a good chance.

Swansea may not be creating many chances but they will be happy with how they are defending at the moment. Wilfried Zaha has largely been kept quiet with half an hour gone.
