Hibernian manager Neil Lennon: “If [Stokes] has punched [Jack Hendry] there might be retrospective punishment but the referee has seen it and the other officials have seen it they’ve warranted it a yellow card. There was lot going on in the game and I didn’t think we got the rub of the green with decision at times, but I’m not here to criticise the referee. I’m just thoroughly proud of my team.

"It’s a fantastic result, arguably the best of the season considering the circumstances. We’re down to 15 fit players, we lost three today, but the second half performance was more than I could have expected from the team. I thought they were breathtaking at times, particularly the last half hour, so they thoroughly deserved the win. I’m really pleased not just with the effort and commitment of the team, but the quality of the football.

"I felt we could have won the game by more and I felt we had a perfectly good goal disallowed, Stokesy’s onside."

Dundee manager Neil McCann: "I’m very unhappy again. Basic defending, real poor start to the game, ridiculous. It’s a cheap goal. Then we get ourselves going and we dominate the first half once we got our game plan going. We scored an excellent equaliser then the second half Neil’s made a few changes to his shape but I wasn’t too upset by it. The keeper makes an unbelievable save from El Bakhtaoui that keeps them in the game.

"The second goal is so basic defending. We worked on it this week, and that’s so angering. It’s killed us. What I’m more angry about is the guy who crosses the ball, [Anthony Stokes] shouldn’t be on the pitch. He’s punched our defender between the legs.

"The fourth official says he sees it, says they’re dealing with it because of the melee and for whatever reason they’ve deemed it not violent conduct. Well, I’m sorry, it’s a close fist where it hurts, our player’s gone down and he should have been red carded."

"We gave ourselves too much to do," says Motherwell assistant boss Keith Lasley. "You go 3-0 down against anyone in this league then I think you're going to struggle to get back into it.

"We gave it a good shot in the second half and looked to get a reaction. It was the only thing we could do to give our travelling band of fans something to shout about - and I think we did that."

Aberdeen manager Derek McInnes felt his side had a lot of positives to take from the 2-2 draw with Hamilton.

"We should be talking about a lot of the positives, especially in the second half, but unfortunately it's hard to talk about that when we've dropped two points," he told BBC Scotland.

"I'm just disappointed that having got ourselves in front and looking very assured at that moment in the game that we haven't managed to see the game out."

Aberdeen have an excellent home record against Hamilton, but the Superseal Stadium is a ground the Dons often struggle on.

McInnes said: "I think we've won every (home) game against Hamilton in my time here.

"I don't think the pitch can be used as a sole excuse, I think Hamilton are just a competitive team. It's a good crowd here when we come and I think they respond."

"I'm delighted," says Ross County boss Owen Coyle. "We knew that it was going to be a tough challenge and it was important that we set about the game as we did.

"We had ad good lead to take into half-time and it's disappointing we allowed Motherwell back into the game. They've scored two wonderful headers, but there's no doubt that over the piece we were the far better team."

Hamilton Academical manager Martin Canning felt "three points got away from us" as they had to settled for a point at home to Aberdeen.

He told BBC Scotland: "I think before the game we would have taken a point against Aberdeen considering the form they are in, but I think on the basis of the game and the chances we created, we probably deserved more than we got.

"All over the park today there were big performances. I always know with the players I'm going to get 100%, I'm going to get full commitment."

Hamilton midfielder David Templeton was a relived man to get a goal in the 2-2 draw with Aberdeen after spurning a number of earlier chances.

He told BBC Scotland: "As a fan it would have been a really good game to watch, there were lots of chances at both ends. Especially from myself, I had a couple of great chances I should have scored.

"I've probably scored the hardest one out of the three of them. At 2-1 down, to get that equaliser after the two I had missed, I think you could see I was happy with it.

"I apologised to the lads at half-time for the chances I missed, because if I take them we're two or three nil up."

"It (the record) is huge for the club and the lads," says Celtic captain Scott Brown. "I don't think, in our wildest dreams, we believe this could have happened. But great management and also playing great football as well.

"As soon as the gaffer came in, he wanted us to break records. But I don't think anyone would've ever thought we'd break this record."
