Neil McCann refused to comment on the absence of goalkeeper Scott Bain from his line-up to face Hibernian.
Bain is understood to have refused to pay a club fine for an exchange of words with McCann last week during the Hamilton match.
McCann said: “It’s not about Scott Bain at all, it’s not about Scott Bain today. I’m not talking about it, it’s an internal affair.”

Rangers v Partick Thistle (15:00)
Rangers interim manager Graeme Murty names an unchanged starting line-up following last week's win away to Hearts.
Bruno Alves returns from suspension to make the squad but has to settle for a place on the bench.
Partick Thistle boss Alan Archibald also keeps his team the same following the defeat of St Johnstone a week ago.
Chris Erskine and Martin Woods do not make the squad and Thistle name only six substitutes at Ibrox.
Hamilton Academical v Aberdeen (15:00)
Aberdeen manager Derek McInnes say there has been no approach from Rangers, and he will not let the speculation affect him.
"It's been no distraction," he told BBC Scotland. "I've stressed the point we're used to having some speculation whether it's myself or players.
"I've told the players not to get caught up in criticism or praise, we always focus on the next game and this is exactly that."
McInnes is keen to improve on an impressive away record, with nine wins in their last 10 outings.
"It shows the focus of the team when they go away from home they see it as a chance to win. But Hamilton will be buoyed by their win last week.
"There is still improvement in us, I still want us to get into that flow and rhythm."

Rangers' James Tavernier has praised the influence of Kenny Miller following the striker's return to the first team.

"Kenny has worked hard throughout this season and since I've been here," Tavernier told the club website., external
"Every day, he is working hard on the training pitch, he's a good influence in the dressing-room and the pitch."
St Johnstone 0-4 Celtic
"It's everything," says Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers, of setting a new British record of 63 unbeaten domestic matches. "How and what it stood for before - 100 years - and Celtic holding that British record. It's an incredible feat by the players and a wonderful example of professionalism."

Quote MessageWe could talk about Aberdeen's away record - nine wins in their last 10 Premiership away matches. We could talk about the Accies home record - no wins in their last five Premiership home games. But let's be honest - the main topic of conversation surrounds Derek McInnes. The Aberdeen manager remains the favourite to become the next Rangers manager. And while he won't welcome the swirl of speculation, that speculation is unlikely to go away until the Ibrox club appoint a successor to Pedro Caixinha.
