You know you’re at a Wales Football match when the Barry Horns are playing “I love you baby”. The record crowd are loving it!

Wales getting caught offside on a regular basis. The crowd boo but you feel it’s only a matter of time that one or the Wales forwards beats the trap!

There have been moments of football breaking out in Cardiff, but in these openign 20-odd minutes it has been scrappy stuff. This is exactly what Kazakhstan want. Soon as the ball is brought down, Wales look capable.

England are knocking. And it is more dawn raid than polite tap on the knocker.

Fran Kirby skirts past her marker and sees her shot deflected over the top by a stretching Bosnia defender.

A very bright start by England, encapsulated by Jordan Nobbs' beautifully floated ball over the top in the very first minute, which Fran Kirby just failed to get a proper connection on.

Inspired by the musical accompaniment of England Women's football's version of Billy The Trumpet behind the goal, the Lionesses have spent the first 10 minutes camped in the visitors' half . . . And you have to think a goal is coming!

Alex Greenwood got the nod over Demi Stokes for this match for precisely that reason.

The Liverpool left-back has a peach of a left foot and her curling delivery very near dips under the Bosnia crossbar as a relieved goalkeeper Almina Hodzic backpedals at pace.

Ten minutes gone and it’s all Wales at the moment who have had most of the possession. Kazakhstan putting in a couple of crunching tackles already. Jess Fishlock wowing the crowd with a half volley but easily saved by goal keeper Zheleznyak.

And then she is just inches away from controlling Steph Houghton's raking ball forward.

Wales pressure is building. You feel it is just a matter of time until they open the scoring. Jess Fishlock fires an effort on target but is saved by the visiting keeper.

You can see what Bosnia have come to do. It is exactly what we expected - lying deeper, staying compact and keeping concentrated defensively.

Bosnia goalkeeper Almina Hodzic had a couple of very good games when these two teams met in Euro 2017 qualifying and she makes an assured start as she comes off her line to pluck Izzy Christiansen's free-kick delivery out of the sky.

Jordan Nobbs - working in a deeper lying role tonight - pulls the strings with a lovely lofted throughball scooped over a flat-footed Bosnia defence.

Fran Kirby is onto it, haring off in pursuit.

Her low cross from the byeline is hacked clear, but that was promising for England.

Izzy Christiansen taps the ball off the spot and we are underway.

As you'd expect, Wales are the team looking to make something happen. Kazakhstan have healthy numbers back in defence at all times. Taking as few chances as possible.
