It seems strange to have to divert attention away from Hampden Park on the day of a major cup final, but that's what we have to do, for a little while at least.

Motherwell are the latest side who will attempt to stop the Celtic juggernaut as manager Brendan Rodgers goes for a fourth domestic title by lifting the Scottish League Cup for a second season in succession.

But, first, Kilmarnock, showing signs of improvement under Steve Clarke, host an Aberdeen side looking to shake off speculation over the future of manager Derek McInnes to consolidate their second place in the Premiership.

Those games mean the Scottish Women's Cup final between league champions Glasgow City and holders Hibernian, being played in Livingston, has been - and will continue to be - somewhat overshadowed because of some bizarre scheduling.
