That victory for Norwich ends a run of seven games without a win and moves them up to 15th.

Sheffield Wednesday are a place higher in the Championship table.

Norwich goalscorer James Maddison tells Sky Sports:

"We've been on this horrible run. Just to get three points, especially at home for our fans, I think we deserve it and they deserve it."

Nottingham Forest held on to beat struggling Bolton 3-2, a result which Reds boss Mark Warburton said was "more satisfying" than a four or five goal victory would have been.

"It is easy to talk about the games where you win 4-0 or 5-0 and play fluid, flowing football," he told BBC Radio Nottingham.

"At the end of the season, these are the games you look back on as giving you a vital three points.

"We have spoken in the dressing room about how we can deal with games like this better.
