  1. goal

GOAL: Nottingham Forest 3-1 Boltonpublished at 16:50 Greenwich Mean Time 9 December 2017

    Ben Brereton

Game, set and match to Forest.

It's young striker Ben Brereton who wraps up victory for the Reds, racing onto Liam Bridcutt's through ball to stab through the legs of Ben Alnwick.

  2. goal

GOAL: QPR 1-2 Leedspublished at 16:50 Greenwich Mean Time 9 December 2017

    Pawel Wszolek (90 mins)

    Bizarre goal.

Poland forward Pawel Wszolek scuffs a shot which bounces up and over Leeds goalkeeper Felix Wiedwald.

Surely QPR can't come back like they did against Brentford?

  3. goal

GOAL: Hull 3-2 Brentfordpublished at 16:48 Greenwich Mean Time 9 December 2017

    John Egan

    Brentford are back in it!

Florian Jozefzoon is denied by a sharp Allan McGregor save, but John Egan is on hand to head home when Ollie Watkins gets the ball back into the box.

Nigel Adkins talked about nervy finishes for Hull earlier this week. Can his side hang on?

  4. Five minutes added time at Wolvespublished at 16:48 Greenwich Mean Time 9 December 2017

    Wolves 0-0 Sunderland

That's 20 shots for Wolves now.

Diogo Jota and Ivan Cavaleiro efforts are both saved by Robbin Ruiter.

There will be five minutes of added time at Molineux.

  5. Postpublished at 16:48 Greenwich Mean Time 9 December 2017

    Fulham 1-0 Birmingham City

Birmingham have improved in the past 15-20 minutes, but they're still not testing the keeper enough, and - as it stands - are set to be punished for that missed Jeremie Boga penalty.

    They're into the closing stages.

  6. Postpublished at 16:45 Greenwich Mean Time 9 December 2017

    Luton 1-1 Notts County

An ambitious attempt from Notts County's Lewis Alessandra sees the ball fly high over the Luton goal.

A draw wouldn't do much to harm either side's promotion chances, though you feel the visitors will be the happier team tonight if the scoreline doesn't change in the final five minutes or so.

  7. Postpublished at 16:44 Greenwich Mean Time 9 December 2017

    Wolves 0-0 Sunderland

Wolves are camped in the Sunderland half, but it's been a fruitless afternoon.

Diogo Jota shoots over. Five minutes left.

  8. Postpublished at 16:44 Greenwich Mean Time 9 December 2017

    Hull 3-1 Brentford

Any sign of a comeback for Brentford at Hull?

It doesn't look that way at the moment, with Dean Smith's side frustrated by a much-improved Tigers defence this afternoon.

This will be just a second defeat in 13 games for Brentford.

  9. goal

GOAL: Barnsley 0-3 Derbypublished at 16:43 Greenwich Mean Time 9 December 2017

It's a beauty. Andreas Weimann seals the points for Gary Rowett's side with a fine half-volley.

  10. League One latestpublished at 16:42 Greenwich Mean Time 9 December 2017

It's not a bad game at Bradford! They lead 4-3 now against Rochdale, and there's still time for more goals.

  11. goal

GOAL: Burton 0-2 Prestonpublished at 16:40 Greenwich Mean Time 9 December 2017

    Daryl Horgan (83 mins)

It's another bad day for the Championship's bottom side Burton. Daryl Horgan doubles Preston's lead and that's surely game over there now.

  12. Postpublished at 16:39 Greenwich Mean Time 9 December 2017

    Luton 1-1 Notts County

All those goals at Hull have stopped me from being able to update on proceedings at Luton.

Fortunately, you've not missed too much, with the sides still locked at one goal apiece heading into the final 10 minutes.

Danny Hylton has a brief sniff of a chance for Luton, but a Magpies defender steals in to the head the ball behind before he can get a killer touch.

  13. Postpublished at 16:38 Greenwich Mean Time 9 December 2017

    Fulham 1-0 Birmingham City

Birmingham go close again but Emilio Nsue heads just wide at the far post.

    Wolves 0-0 Sunderland

    NunoImage source, Rex Features

Nuno will be a frustrated man on the Wolves touchline.

His side have had 16 shots, but only one - a deflected Diogo Jota effort - on target.

Ruben Neves is the latest to go wayward, sending a half-volley wide.

  15. MISSED PENALTYpublished at 16:35 Greenwich Mean Time 9 December 2017

    Fulham 1-0 Birmingham City

No! They've missed! Jeremie Boga blasts over the bar! What a waste!

  16. goal

GOAL: Hull 3-1 Brentfordpublished at 16:35 Greenwich Mean Time 9 December 2017

    Jackson Irvine (75 mins)

That might just do it for Nigel Adkins and Hull City.

Hull have been a totally different side in the second half, Jackson Irvine shooting beyond Dan Bentley from 15 yards out to give his side a two-goal lead.

Brentford have been in excellent form of late, but it's hard to see a way back from here.

  17. PENALTY TO BIRMINGHAMpublished at 16:35 Greenwich Mean Time 9 December 2017

    Fulham 1-0 Birmingham City

Oh my. Could the Blues get only their 11th league goal of the season?

  18. Postpublished at 16:34 Greenwich Mean Time 9 December 2017

    Hull 2-1 Brentford

That could have been three points in the bag!

Kamil Groscicky has been a constant thorn in Brentford's side this afternoon, and he produces a terrific cross to pick out Fraizer Campbell at the back post.

Campbell has to stretch just a little too far though, lifting the ball onto the crossbar from close range.

A let off for the visitors.

  19. Postpublished at 16:33 Greenwich Mean Time 9 December 2017

    Wolves 0-0 Sunderland

Can the 10 men of Sunderland hold on for another 15 minutes at Molineux?

Wolves are really struggling to break through the Black Cats who have everyone behind the ball.

    Who saw this result coming?

  20. League One latestpublished at 16:32 Greenwich Mean Time 9 December 2017

Wigan look to be going five points clear at the top - they're still 2-0 up on Fleetwood, while Shrewsbury are losing 1-0 at MK Dons.
