    Norwich 0-2 Brentford

Norwich fans booing as their team make a fluff of a chance. The ball trickles harmlessly away as Nelson Oliveira and Ivo Pinto fail to find any connection in the build up to a move that flounders.

Brentford concede a free-kick as Romaine Sawyers scythes down an opponent. Norwich set-piece threat here...

Ah... Daniel Bentley saves the header of Nelson Oliveira from the James Maddison cross.

The madness continues at the Ricoh.

Wycombe are now level thanks to Joe Jacobson's penalty.

It looked so comfortable for Coventry when they were 2-0 up just before the break.

  4. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 54 mins

    Norwich 0-2 Brentford

Florian Jozefzoon is a real class act, the ex-PSV man has tormented Marco Stiepermann tonight at times.

Meanwhile, applause from the away support for Lasse Vibe who makes way for Neal Maupay. He's been recovering from a hamstring injury and that's most likely precautionary.

Romaine Sawyers gets a throw for Brentford after his volley is blocked by Stiepermann. Bees pushing again.

    Norwich 0-2 Brentford

Norwich have certainly started this second half with some revived purpose. They're having much more ball and much more field position.

Brentford won't mind that too much, as they have a comfortable lead and back their defence so far.

  6. Postpublished at 47 mins

    Norwich 0-2 Brentford

Nelson Oliveira strikes the stand behind the goal with a shot. Sums up Norwich's night so far.

Not the Portuguese's night individually either.

    FT: Fleetwood 0-2 Gillingham

League One's 19:00 GMT kick-off has just come to an end.

Goals inside the opening 15 minutes from Josh Parker and Luke O'Neill proved to be the difference for Gillingham.

They're back under way for the second half at the Ricoh Arena too. Coventry lead Wycombe 2-1.

    Norwich 0-2 Brentford

Early chance for the Canaries. Lovely pass into the space from James Maddison puts Alex Pritchard away down the flank but he shoots across goal rather than crossing.

    Nelson Oliveira was in, perhaps.

  9. KICK-OFFpublished at 45 mins

    Norwich 0-2 Brentford

Norwich have brought on Christoph Zimmermann for Grant Hanley at half-time. He goes into the centre of the Norwich defence. Another German. Alongside Swiss stopper Timm Klose.

With Daniel Farke in charge (at least for the moment), I'm tempted to put a little umlaut in the Norwich 'o'. German tint to the Canaries.

    HT: Norwich 0-2 Brentford

One win in the past 10 in all competitions for Norwich just highlights the issues the home side are having.

Teams out for the second half. It's a misty old day around the country, including Carrow Road.

    HT: Norwich 0-2 Brentford

What can Norwich do then to sort this out? It's not like they've failed to create chances. They've churned out a few. No goals though.

Problem is, Brentford have been so irresistible. Lasse Vibe spurned a couple of chances himself.

However, the Dane grabbed two quick-fire goals and when you've got that in your locker you're all good.

Marc McNulty goalImage source, Rex Features

Like at Carrow Road, it's been a busy end to the half in our one League Two game this evening.

Marc McNulty put the Sky Blues 2-0 up on 41 minutes, but Dan Scarr has just pulled a goal back for Wycombe on the stroke of half-time.

Meanwhile in League One, it's still 2-0 to Gillingham at Fleetwood. There are five or so minutes left in that one.

  15. HALF-TIMEpublished at 45 mins

Lasse Vibe celebrationImage source, Rex Features

As R Kelly said: "You've got that vibe."

Brentford are delighted to have that Vibe. Lasse Vibe that is. Two goals, very similar in design and just a couple of minutes apart are the difference.

Norwich in a world of trouble. 2-0 down at home. The natives are a little restless.

  16. Postpublished at 45 mins

    Norwich 0-2 Brentford

How slick are Brentford on the break?

Daniel Bentley gathers in the header from Grant Hanley and immediately distributes it.

Brentford race forward and it's Florian Jozefzoon who fizzes a shot on goal but it whips just wide.

Ooohs and aaahs and a few boos. Into added time.

  17. Postpublished at 43 mins

    Norwich 0-2 Brentford

Brentford are swarming at the moment. When they have the ball it looks dangerous.

Finally Norwich stem the flow. James Maddison puts a delivery in the box which wins the corner after Nico Yennaris put it behind. The corresponding ball in is headed at Daniel Bentley by Grant Hanley.

  19. goal

GOAL: Norwich 0-2 Brentfordpublished at 41 mins

    Lasse Vibe

It was proving a fairly even contest before Brentford tucked away that first goal through Lasse Vibe.

Now he's got another. Romaine Sawyers to Vibe, cool finish, repeat prescription for Norwich. Sickening for the Canaries but the execution is delicious from the Bees.

The difference between the two teams (other than the score for any clever so-and-sos) is the amount of support up in attack. Brentford have a ton of options, Norwich have one or two in the box at most at any one time.

  20. goal

GOAL: Norwich 0-1 Brentfordpublished at 36 mins

    Lasse Vibe

Brentford go in front after Norwich fail to clear a breakaway chance - Lasse Vibe is the man to give them the lead.

Some smart football in and around the box frees up Romaine Sawyers and his pass is fired home by the Dane.

    Deadlock broken.
