Hibernian head coach Neil Lennon, speaking to BBC Scotland: “I’m delighted with the result. I didn’t think the performance was as good as it could’ve been, but we showed tremendous character to come back into the game. We almost could’ve won it, but I think that would’ve been undeserved – almost could’ve lost it as well.

“First half was OK. They had a lot of the ball, that was fine. Second half for 15-20 minutes we weren’t at it and the subs gave us a little bit of a spark. Once we got the goal we looked very good.

“There’s an immense amount of pride, also an immense amount of frustration, the basics we can do better at times. I’m thrilled to come back from 2-0 down against a team that normally goes on and wins the game by three and four."

Former Aberdeen and Celtic forward Niall McGinn was in the crowd at Easter Road today. The Northern Ireland international is a free agent after an unhappy spell in South Korea. Might he be considering a switch to Hibs in January?

Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers, speaking to BBC Scotland: “It was a game of the last 15 minutes – I thought we were outstanding for the first 75 minutes, controlled the game, 2-0 up and should’ve been four or five at least, with the chances we had.

“We’re in control and then we present them with two goals, we don’t defend a corner well enough. Two-nil is a dangerous scoreline and at 2-1 with 15 minutes to go they’ve got a bit of momentum.

“We’ll certainly reflect on it as two points dropped. But the crime is not that, it’s if you don’t learn from it.

“We stopped passing the ball at 2-0, maybe we felt like we could go on and get more comfort in the game. It was nothing really that Hibs done in the game, it was more that we stopped playing, passing, and went a bit longer on it. When it goes forward like that it always comes back that bit quicker."

That's a fifth draw for champions Celtic in 16 league outings, which means they have already dropped more points than they did over the course of last season.

It's the third time Hibs have scored two against Celtic this season and that will please Neil Lennon. It's also the second time Oli Shaw has come off the bench to net against the champions and that will please the Easter Road manager even more. The 19-year-old looks like a real talent. He could have been a real hero if Mikael Lustig hadn't popped up to clear in front of an empty net.

"For 70 minutes we ruled the game," Celtic captain Scott Brown tells Sky Sports. "We had a lot of chances and we should be seeing games out from 2-0 up."

Celtic will be disappointed to let a 2-0 lead slip but it could have been a lot worse if Mikael Lustig hadn't cleared that last-gasp shot from Oli Shaw after Craig Gordon's blunder.

It nudges the unbeaten record on to 68 games.

Celtic move five points clear at the top of the Premiership, with a game in hand, while Hibs remain in fourth spot - three points behind both Rangers and Aberdeen, who they meet on Wednesday and Saturday.

The champions are at home to Hamilton on Wednesday before a trip to Tynecastle.

For the second time this season, these two play out a thrilling 2-2 draw and, like the first meeting at Celtic Park, it all came to life after the interval.

The home fans are in good voice after seeing their favourites battle back from 2-0 down.

Almost a winner for Hibs! Craig Gordon comes a long way to gather a high ball but, under no pressure, drops it, like a dozy rugby full-back knocking on. Oli Shaw sends a first-time low shot on target from 20 yards but Mikael Lustig is in the right place to clear up his goalkeeper's mistake.

Some slick play from Hibs but no one can pull the trigger in the box.

Three Celtic players arrive unmarked to meet Stuart Armstrong's free kick but Dedryck Boyata can't keep his angled header down. What happened to the Hibs defence there? Sleeping.

Sloppy play from Celtic and the home fans want a second yellow card for Dedryck Boyata as the defender's trailing leg upends Dyaln McGeouch. Referee John Beaton is not interested.

A long wait, then a terrible free kick from John McGinn sails high and wide.

Martin Boyle squirms his way past a couple of opponents and is about to race into wide open space before Olivier Ntcham grabs him round the shoulders and takes a booking for the team.

The Frenchman is immediately replaced by Stuart Armstrong.
