    Everton 2-0 Leicester

Chucking it down at Everton. A miserable night for the travelling Leicester fans becomes even more miserable.

  2. Postpublished at 21:10 Greenwich Mean Time 31 January 2018

    Man City 1-0 West Brom

    Over at the Etihad...

Raheem Sterling does brilliantly to shift to one side to make himself space in the area, but then inexplicably fires over from 10 yards out.

    Oh Raheem!

    Unbelievable scoreline.

    Massive goal for Newcastle!

Just as they were perhaps thinking things were not going their way Jamaal Lascelles pops up to head home a corner.

Who got the assist? New signing Kenedy.

  5. goal

GOAL - Southampton 1-1 Brightonpublished at 21:06 Greenwich Mean Time 31 January 2018

    Jack Stephens (64 mins)

His second goal in two games!!

Jack Stephens produces a lovely flick into the far corner from James Ward-Prowse's low free-kick.

We are all square at St Mary's.

    What's going on!?

Bournemouth get a second at the Bridge as Chelsea's defence decides to take the night off.

Callum Wilson's neat pass sends Junior Stanislas away and he calmly flicks beyond Thibaut Courtois at the near post.

  7. Postpublished at 21:04 Greenwich Mean Time 31 January 2018

    Everton 2-0 Leicester

"Come on!" shouts Jamie Vardy. A much-needed rallying call but will it do the job? Leicester look down and out, no shots on or off target for them so far in this half.

    Comeback on the cards?

TerryUrbanczyk: I remember the great 5-3 comeback. I don't see United making any comeback in this game.

Ricky Lee Everett: Somehow I just don’t see this United side producing a special comeback against Spurs like the side of 01/02. Hopefully this is just a bad day at the office for United and not a sign of a bad run.

Methers: Just remember Spurs fans, I'm sure you've been three ahead before and lost to Manchester United.

  9. KICK-OFFpublished at 21:03 Greenwich Mean Time 31 January 2018

We are back under way in the 20:00 GMT matches.

  10. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 21:01 Greenwich Mean Time 31 January 2018

    Newcastle 0-0 Burnley

Newcastle continue to dominate so Burnley boss Sean Dyche decides it is time for a change. Aaron Lennon comes on for his debut, replacing Scott Arfield.

  11. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 20:59 Greenwich Mean Time 31 January 2018

    Chelsea 0-1 Bournemouth

Chelsea make a change as Ross Barkley, who was largely anonymous, is replaced by Cesc Fabregas.

  12. Postpublished at 20:57 Greenwich Mean Time 31 January 2018

    Southampton 0-1 Brighton

Jack Stephens' header from James Ward-Prowse's cross misses the Brighton crossbar by fractions.

That was the first big chance of the second half.

  13. Postpublished at 20:56 Greenwich Mean Time 31 January 2018

    Everton 2-0 Leicester

No sign of a Leicester fight back - they've been very poor - instead it is Everton who go close to adding a third. Gylfi Sigurdsson's shot hits Kasper Schmeichel and loops up kindly for Oumar Niasse, who puts an overhead kick wide.

  14. Postpublished at 20:55 Greenwich Mean Time 31 January 2018

    Newcastle 0-0 Burnley

Ashley Barnes breaks through on the right for Burnley but sends his shot just wide of the far post.

Hearing Islam Slimani has failed a medical at Newcastle. Will they get someone through the door before the transfer window closes?

    Paul PogbaImage source, PA

    Where is Pogba?

Noel Fitzpatrick: There must be some transfer speculation around Paul Pogba because he hasn't turned up tonight for Untied!

Colin Reardon: It's in games like this that Pogba should be imposing himself. Instead he's anonymous. Again!

Sorry but what does Pogba do again?

    Tim, London

    Tottenham 2-0 Man Utd

The start gave Spurs that energy and they've gone from strength to strength and United have gone the other way.

They've lost direction and drive. Martial has been their best player but we've seen nothing of Sanchez.

I thought Mourinho should have played Herrara. As good as Pogba is, he leaves his team mate on his own.

Tottenham are winning the midfield battle. I have sympathy for Smalling and Jones as they've come up against a top striker but they have been poor and making wrong decisions.

  17. goal

GOAL - Chelsea 0-1 Bournemouthpublished at 20:51 Greenwich Mean Time 31 January 2018

    Callum Wilson (51 mins)

    Now then.

Clinical stuff from Bournemouth - Chelsea take note. Tiemoué Bakayoko loses the ball, Callum Wilson plays a one-two with Jordon Ibe before the former slots calmly into the net.

We've got a game on now.

    Eden HazardImage source, Getty Images

Eden Hazard wins Chelsea an early corner but it's dealt with by Bournemouth.

If Chelsea get a goal, expect Hazard to be involved. He's been the best player in the game.

Speaking of Hazard, he's just been brought down outside the area. Chance here...
