Should Celtic sell Moussa Dembele in January? Would £18m be a good price for the France Under-21 striker, or should they hold out for the £25m some reports suggest they want?

Hearts are reportedly ready to accept £300,000 for winger Jamie Walker from Wigan Athletic. Is that a good deal given the winger is out of contract this summer?

Rangers are said to want midfielder Andy Halliday back from Gabala - and forward Michael O'Halloran from St Johnstone. Would that be welcomed by fans at Ibrox?

Celtic have been linked with Dundee defender Jack Hendry.

  2. Celtic's Dembele heading for Brighton?published at 11:54 Greenwich Mean Time 26 December 2017

Reports that Celtic are in talks with Brighton about a proposed transfer of Moussa Dembele to the English Premier League club dominate the Boxing Day newspaper headlines.

Suggestions that an £18m fee has been agreed have been described as "nonsense" by a Celtic source speaking to BBC Scotland, but we'll find out soon what manager Brendan Rodgers has to say.

He might also be tackled on a report saying defender Erik Sviatchenko is heading for Copenhagen.

    Meanwhile, also in our round-up:

    - Wigan Athletic are said to have opened talks with Hearts for winger Jamie Walker

    - Rangers are said to be trying to bring back Andy Halliday from Gabala and Michael O'Halloran from St Johnstone

    - Falkirk are reportedly on the verge of accepting an offer from Swansea City for defender Tony Gallacher that is less than the £750,000 they rejected last year

    - And troubled Stranraer have apparently asked their players to accept a pay cut

    Tuesday's Scottish Gossip

Brighton reportedly pursue Celtic striker Moussa Dembele as Erik Sviatchenko is linked with Copenhagen and Hearts' Jamie Walker with Wigan.
