That it from us this evening but don't forget that there is another packed programme in the English Football League this weekend.

Tomorrow there are two lunchtime clashes in the Championship.

It will be a very Yorkshire affair, with Barnsley v Sheff Wed (12:15) and Sheff Utd v Leeds (12:30) getting the day's action started.

Later on, league leaders Wolves host QPR among the 15:00 games.

Then, on Sunday, there's the second city derby, as promotion-chasing Aston Villa host their fierce local rivals Birmingham City. It should be tasty!

You can follow it all here on the BBC Sport website and app.

Until then, thanks for joining us.

  2. Recap: Lions fight back to hold Cardiffpublished at 22:01 Greenwich Mean Time 9 February 2018

    FT: Millwall 1-1 Cardiff

Cardiff missed the chance to move level with second-placed Derby as Millwall battled to a point on the night veteran Tim Cahill made his second Lions debut.

Junior Holiett drilled in the opener after Mahlon Romeo was caught in possession, as Millwall began sloppily.

But the hosts fought back in the first half and were rewarded when Lee Gregory turned in Jed Wallace's good cross.

The Londoners edged a scrappy second half but were kept out by keeper Neil Etheridge, as Cardiff stayed fourth.

  3. Derry leaves Cambridge Unitedpublished at 21:58 Greenwich Mean Time 9 February 2018
    Breaking

Some breaking news to bring you, as Cambridge United head coach Shaun Derry has left the League Two club by mutual consent.

Derry was appointed as U's boss in November 2015 and led them to ninth and 11th place finishes in his two seasons in charge.

He leaves the U's 14th in League Two, 12 points off the play-offs.

  4. Warnock wanted penaltypublished at 21:55 Greenwich Mean Time 9 February 2018

    FT: Millwall 1-1 Cardiff

Some strong words from Neil Warnock there, who also thinks his side should have had a penalty in the very last minute of stoppage time for a handball.

That criticism may get the Cardiff boss in hot water with the Football Association.

  5. Referee 'cost us the game'published at 21:52 Greenwich Mean Time 9 February 2018

    FT: Millwall 1-1 Cardiff

    Quote Message

I think it is appalling at this level. Sol is going to shoot and then he blows. I don't accept that. He is a really experienced referee and I feel let down. He cost us the game. We are fighting to get in the Premier League. But for the referee it would have been three points.

  6. Millwall 'started terribly'published at 21:50 Greenwich Mean Time 9 February 2018

    FT: Millwall 1-1 Cardiff

    Quote Message

We started terribly but Mahlon [Romeo] and the team bounced back. In the second half we were really good. I think a draw is the right result as the second half was even. It had a draw written all over it before we started, but we will take a point against a very good team and hope we get safe.

Steve Morison, Millwall striker on Sky Sports

  7. Stroud 'blew too early'published at 21:46 Greenwich Mean Time 9 February 2018

    FT: Millwall 1-1 Cardiff

    Quote Message

We had chances but they had good chances as well. It was a goal and the referee should have played advantage. He blew the whistle too early. But we'll take a point and move on.

  8. Late controversypublished at 21:43 Greenwich Mean Time 9 February 2018

    FT: Millwall 1-1 Cardiff

Cardiff remain fourth in the table and extend their unbeaten run to four league games.

But it could have been all three points for the Bluebirds at The Den, had a late effort by Sol Bamba been allowed.

Referee Keith Stroud blew for a foul on the edge of the box just as the centre-back smashed an acrobatic effort into the Millwall goal. Should he have played a longer advantage?

  9. FULL-TIMEpublished at 21:38 Greenwich Mean Time 9 February 2018

    Millwall 1-1 Cardiff

It ends all square at The Den, as Cardiff have a late shout for a penalty turned down.

The appeal was fairly half-hearted after the ball struck a hand in the box. It would have been very harsh on the Lions.

  18. DISALLOWED GOALpublished at 83 mins

    Millwall 1-1 Cardiff

    Well, possible controversy here.

Keith Stroud gives a foul for a robust challenge by Millwall striker Steve Morison on Joe Bennett on the edge of his own area. The defender is down clutching his head.

But the ball had broken to Cardiff defender Sol Bamba and bounced up six yards out, the whistle was blown, but a split second later the defender acrobatically turns it home.

He starts celebrating but the goal won't stand.

It's quite a battle out there, with neither side able to retain possession and a few niggling fouls thrown in as well.

It's starting to get a bit nervy.
