  1. Postpublished at 20 mins

    Millwall 0-1 Cardiff

This time Junior Hoilett curls in an inswinger from the left.

It was heading in at the near post and Lions keeper Archer palms it behind, rather unconvincingly.

The fourth corner falls to Nathaniel Mendez-Laing on the edge of the box but the winger slices his shot well wide.

A chance for the hosts to relieve the pressure.

  2. Postpublished at 18 mins

    Millwall 0-1 Cardiff

Cardiff are really threatening here, they win another corner and Lions keeper Jordan Archer comes for the punch.

He misses and it goes behind again off a defender. A third corner for the Bluebirds.

  3. Postpublished at 17 mins

    Millwall 0-1 Cardiff

A really good passing move from Cardiff forces their first corner.

Gary Madine volleys the ball out to Junior Hoilett, who has Joe Bennett overlapping on the left.

His delivery into the box is turned behind.

  4. Postpublished at 15 mins

    Millwall 0-1 Cardiff

It's a really poor delivery from Wallace. Overhit to the back post, and too high for anyone to get near it.

A waste of the set piece.

  5. Postpublished at 14 mins

    Millwall 0-1 Cardiff

Millwall left-back James Meredith comes forward and gets goalside of Junior Hoilett, who brings him down.

A free-kick just outside the box on the left flank for the Lions, and Jed Wallace is over it.

  7. Postpublished at 11 mins

    Millwall 0-1 Cardiff

Another scare for Millwall, as George Saville gives away possession midway inside his own half.

Fortunately for him, Callum Paterson and Gary Madine can't make anything from it.

  8. Postpublished at 9 mins

    Millwall 0-1 Cardiff

Cardiff have won on 14 of the 15 occasions they have gone ahead in the Championship this season.

Can Millwall come back and upset the Bluebirds?

Bar an early spell of possession in the visitors' half before the yellow card, Cardiff have been on top.

  9. Postpublished at 6 mins

    Millwall 0-1 Cardiff

Well, that blistering start by Cardiff has somewhat silenced the boisterous crowd at The Den.

It was a clinical finish from Hoilett, who has been in fine form this season.

And Millwall defender Mahlon Romeo is walking the proverbial tightrope for the rest of the evening.

Cardiff are ahead, and Mahlon Romeo has had an opening five minutes to forget.

The right-back gets caught in possession by Junior Holiett, and the winger advances forward towards the box.

Romeo can't take him down as he's already been booked.

Hoilett finds the bottom left-hand corner with a fine strike from 25 yards. That's his 10th goal of the season in all competitions.

  11. YELLOW CARDpublished at 2 mins

    Millwall 0-0 Cardiff

An early free-kick for Cardiff wide on the left, as Millwall right-back Mahlon Romeo chops down Junior Hoilett.

The Canadian didn't like Romeo's apology either, and the defender goes into the book.

A good position here for a set piece.

  13. Memorial Day at The Denpublished at 19:45 Greenwich Mean Time 9 February 2018

    Millwall v Cardiff (19:45 GMT)

There's a minute's applause before kick-off in south east London.

Millwall are hosting their first-ever 'Memorial Day', in which the club will remember those who lost their lives in 2017.

Names sent in by supporters are in the matchday programme, as well as being shown on the big screen at The Den.

Lions skipper Steve Morison has just laid a wreath in the centre circle.

The players are also wearing black armbands.

  14. The return of Tim Cahillpublished at 19:41 Greenwich Mean Time 9 February 2018

    Millwall v Cardiff (19:45 GMT)

There could be a special moment later this evening - the second coming of Tim Cahill at The Den.

The 38-year-old has re-joined the Lions until the end of the season as he looks to secure a place in Australia's squad for the World Cup.

He scored 57 goals in 251 appearances for the Championship club between 1997 and 2004 before joining Everton for a fee of £1.5m.

His last appearance for the Lions was in their FA Cup final defeat by Manchester United.

Cahill says he is aiming to do something special during his second stint in south east London.

Here is below on the left, pictured with now-boss Neil Harris during their Cup run 14 years ago. He'll get quite a reception from the home fans if he comes off the bench later.

Millwall have lost just one of their last 11 home matches against Cardiff in all competitions, winning four and drawing six of those games.

Cardiff haven't scored in their last three league matches against Millwall, with the reverse meeting ending 0-0 back in October.

Rudy Gestede, now at Middlesbrough, was the last player to net for Cardiff against the Lions, scoring the winner in a 1-0 victory in December 2012.

Meanwhile, London has not been a happy hunting ground for the Bluebirds in recent years. The Welsh side are winless in nine league visits to the English capital since winning 2-1 at Brentford in March 2015.

Can they end that run tonight?

  17. Harris calls for 'hostile' Denpublished at 19:32 Greenwich Mean Time 9 February 2018

    Millwall v Cardiff (19:45 GMT)

In fact, Harris thinks tonight's match could be the perfect tonic for his squad to refocus on the Championship after their FA Cup run came to an end at Spotland.

The Lions are 14th in the table, 12 points above the relegation zone.

"We've had a fantastic season so far and amassed a good amount of points," the 40-year-old told BBC Radio London.

"We had a disappointing performance and result on Tuesday but that is gone.

"Cardiff is a great game to come into, with a big and passionate crowd and rivalry between the two sets of supporters.

"It will be noisy and electric at The Den, and we have got to make it hostile and uncomfortable for one of the best teams in the division."

    Millwall v Cardiff (19:45 GMT)

Cardiff are looking to get their automatic promotion push back on track after four successive defeats over the festive period saw them drop out of the top two.

Victory tonight will take the Bluebirds level on points with second-placed Derby County.

However, Millwall are unbeaten in nine home games in all competitions and Lions boss Neil Harris will be looking for a reaction from his squad after they were dumped out of the FA Cup by League One Rochdale in midweek.
