    The Sunderland fans, who have again travelled in good numbers, have really started to turn on their players since Famara Diedhiou doubled and now trebled Bristol City’s lead.

    The Black Cats are at sixes and sevens at the back, with the Senegal frontman wasting a glorious chance to make it 3-0 moments before doing just that on the break.

    “You’re not fit to wear the shirt” is the cry from the away end. This could get messy on the evidence of the first 35 minutes or so.
