    Derby v Norwich (15:00 GMT)

With third-placed Aston Villa not playing until tomorrow, Derby - in second - have a chance today to put four points between themselves and the Villains.

The Rams are at home to an unpredictable Norwich side, who could really use the points themselves if they're to maintain some slim hope of making a late burst for the play-offs.

  4. Crunch game on Teessidepublished at 14:53 Greenwich Mean Time 10 February 2018

    Middlesbrough v Reading (15:00 GMT)

At the Riverside Stadium today it's a meeting of two sides who need to put their seasons back on track.

New Middlesborugh boss Tony Pulis hasn't had the smoothest of starts, winning just two of his first six Championship games in charge.

The Teessiders have fallen away from the play-off places, and trailed the top six but six points at the start of the day.

Meanwhile Reading, last season's beaten play-off finalists, are looking over their shoulders anxiously.

The Royals have just won one of their last 10 in the league and are six points above the relegation zone.

Lose today and the pressure will surely grow on manager Jaap Stam.

  5. League Two fixturespublished at 14:51 Greenwich Mean Time 10 February 2018

There was one game in League Two last night, as Cambridge drew 0-0 at home to Lincoln but manager Shaun Derry left the U's by mutual consent immediately after full-time.

Leaders Luton could stretch their eight-point gap at the top with victory at Stevenage, while fifth-placed Mansfield visit fellow promotion hopefuls Swindon.

Elsewhere, second-placed Wycombe are looking to make it six league wins in a row as they visit Exeter.

Wet weather has caused postponements at Morecambe and Newport.

Barnet v Notts County (15:00 GMT)

Those were the words of Notts County boss Kevin Nolan following their midweek FA Cup fourth-round replay thumping at Swansea.

Today, their attention turns back to League Two football and their promotion bid.

A visit to bottom side Barnet could well be the tonic needed to cure any hangover from the shellacking in Wales.

    Bolton v Fulham (15:00 GMT)

Fulham will look to continue their promotion push at Bolton Wanderers.

The west London side are chasing a chasing a sixth successive league win, and are eight games unbeaten in the Championship.

That run of form has lifted Slavisa Jokanovic's side up to 5th in the table, and six points off the top two.

However, Bolton are still in need of points as they look to avoid relegation.

Phil Parkinson's men have only lost one of their last four games in the league, and are three points above the bottom three.

  8. A must-win at Ashton Gate?published at 14:45 Greenwich Mean Time 10 February 2018

Bristol City v Sunderland (15:00 GMT)

    Brendon Mitchell
    BBC Sport at Ashton Gate

It seems a bit churlish to be describing a game as ‘must-win’ at the start of February, but this one feels particularly important for Bristol City.

The Robins have picked up just four points from their past six games and, up against lowly Sunderland today, they’re in serious danger of letting their excellent first half of the season go to waste.

From the outside looking in this might appear like a free hit for the Black Cats, but Chris Coleman’s side are already three points from safety with the fixtures starting to run out.

A draw here doesn’t hugely suit either - although Sunderland may well take one if offered now.

  9. League One fixturespublished at 14:43 Greenwich Mean Time 10 February 2018

Elsewhere in the third tier, managerless Bradford are looking to halt a run of five-straight league defeats as they host bottom side Bury.

Second-placed Shrewsbury face Plymouth, while Blackburn could climb into the automatic promotion spots with victory over struggling Oldham at Ewood Park.

Fleetwood's game at Rochdale has fallen foul of the weather, with the pitch at the Crown Oil Arena failing an inspection this morning. The club has since announced they'll be relaying it next week.

    Southend v Wigan (15:00 GMT)

Southend United manager Chris PowellImage source, Rex Features

As managers go, I'm not sure there is a more popular one in the EFL than Chris Powell right now.

The new Southend boss was already revered by Shrimpers fans from his playing days at Roots Hall, before he took over from Phil Brown last month.

Two wins from his first two games to pull Southend clear of the League One relegation zone has sent his popularity into orbit.

Today is his toughest test so far though, as leaders Wigan visit. We'll be keeping a close eye on this one.

  11. Postpublished at 14:40 Greenwich Mean Time 10 February 2018

    Brentford v Preston (15:00 GMT)

Preston continue their play-off push in west London this afternoon with a trip to Brentford.

The Lilywhites are lurking in 7th, three points off the top six and ready to pounce if any of the teams above them slip up.

Alex Neil's men are four unbeaten in the league, but sold striker Jordan Hugill to West Ham on transfer deadline day.

The Bees are looking to breathe new life into their promotion bid.

The Griffin Park side are eight points off the play-offs, having lost their last two. Today's match would be a good one to win to stay in touch with the promotion race.

Nottingham Forest v Hull (15:00 GMT)

    Aitor KarankaImage source, Getty Images

If you were describing Forest's season in a couple of words, "mixed bag" probably does the job quite nicely.

A change of manager, half a dozen deadline day signings, and 17 defeats in 30 league matches has left fans scratching their heads.

Today Aitor Karanka's side take on Hull City who have plenty of problems of their own.

No victory in nine league games has seen the Tigers slip into the relegation zone and they have not won on the road since October.

Wolves are welcoming one of their ex-captains back to Molineux today - former Netherlands international John de Wolf, who played for the club during the mid-1990s.

Our Wolves-supporting colleague tells us he once scored a hat-trick in a league match at Port Vale. He was a centre-back!

Sadly, the trademark long hair is no more...

Let's start at the league leaders where there appears to be no stopping Wolves' march towards the Premier League.

Top of the Championship since the end of October and 11 points clear of second-placed Derby, Nuno's men are bidding for their 22nd win of the campaign today.

Standing in their way are a QPR side who inflicted one of only four defeats on the leaders earlier in the season at Loftus Road.

But the omens for this one aren't good - QPR's away form is poor, while Wolves have the best home record in the division.

  16. Sharp success as Heckingbottom frustratedpublished at 14:30 Greenwich Mean Time 10 February 2018

    FT: Sheff Utd 2-1 Leeds

So, those two Billy Sharp goals handed the Blades all three points.

His first strike was really something special, notching his 200th league goal with a stunning volley.

After Pierre-Michel Lasogga's header evened things up, Sharp's penalty settled it.

Leeds are now seven games without a win in the Championship, and new boss Paul Heckingbottom has work to do to get their season back on track.
