  1. CLOSE!published at 13:56 Greenwich Mean Time 10 February 2018

    Sheff Utd 1-1 Leeds

Leeds are starting to win the 50-50 battles and assert some dominance in midfield.

But then, the Blades break away and Mark Duffy fires narrowly over the bar with a left-footed strike from the edge of the box.

As it stands, Leeds' winless run will extend to eight games in all competitions.

But there's still plenty of time for either side to find a winner.

    Sheff Utd 1-1 Leeds

They've got the equaliser, and if Leeds complete the turnaround in the last half hour at Bramall Lane I'm sure their fans will be doubly delighted.

That's because Sheffield United haven't lost at home to the Whites since April 1992, winning five games and drawing two others in all competitions since then.

That was the season Leeds won the old First Division title, heady days for the Elland Road club.

Here's a shot of Gordon Strachan with the silverware.

Then, Matt Pennington has a shot blocked by Jack O'Connell 10 yards out.

Things have gone a bit flat at Oakwell. There are around 15 minutes for someone to pinch the points in what has been a pretty even game overall.

Leeds right-back Stuart Dallas has to be alert to challenge Enda Stevens in the box at the expense of a corner.

The hosts have responded well to going behind.

And, just like in the first half, there's a goal within the opening two minutes.

This time it's Leeds who strike and get a leveller.

Pablo Hernandez puts in a peach of a cross from the left wing and Pierre-Michel Lasogga is there to power in a header from 12 yards out.

New boss Paul Heckingbottom must have enjoyed that one.

The hosts want a penalty. It's not given. The two club's contrasting reactions on social media here are a little example of why we love the game right?
