  1. 'Lack of confidence'published at 17:09 Greenwich Mean Time 20 January 2018

    Leicester 2-0 Watford

    Watford

Watford midfielder Ben Watson: "In the first half it was pretty even. They got the penalty and obviously that was a turning point. We kept going though, made a couple of substitutes and looked more of a threat. We're going through a tough spell at the minute but there's enough in the squad to get us out of it.

"Sport is 90% confidence but we've got to keep going. Next week we play Southampton in the FA Cup and it'd be great to go on a little Cup run which will help us pick up in the league.

"At 1-0, Andre (Gray) goes through and Maguire makes a good block. If we'd have got that goal we could have gone on to win. It wasn't to be today - we've got to knuckle down, keep going and go again next week."

"Of course we are happy with him (Anthony Martial), we just want consistency, we know he has the talent."

Asked about Alexis Sanchez coming to Manchester United from Arsenal, Mourinho says: "If you ask me if I think he is coming, I think so, but I have no confirmation."

From United's point of view, they had to be resilient and Jones and Smalling were outstanding. Mourinho knows how much these three points mean and it’s been a professional performance from them.
