Pep Guardiola is not happy. He's marched over to the officials to tell them what he thinks to some of those tackles from the Cardiff City players.

Leroy Sane, who had to go off at half-time, was lucky not to have his leg broken while Sergio Aguero and Brahim Diaz had a few nasty knocks in the second-half.

Now this is a sad end to the game. Joe Bennett, who many thought should have been shown a straight red card in the first half, has just received his second yellow card and is off.

It was a nasty tackle on young Brahim Diaz.

Sergio Aguero really, really wants to score and this was his best chance.

He has space and time to lift his leg back and pull the trigger but he puts way too much behind it and his strike flies miles over the bar.

Manchester City then break forward with pace but Bernardo Silva's effort is a tame one and it's straight into the hands of Neil Etheridge.

Johnny: Fernandinho is brilliant. Very rarely spoken about by pundits and fans but he’s always making important runs, vital interceptions and pretty much never misplaces a pass. If you want stability, humility and reliability then get yourself a Fernandinho.

Jack: Not saying Cardiff's striker Zohore is tired but they just had to scrape him off the pitch when they substituted him.

What a goal that would have been!

David Hoilett could not have hit it sweeter as he hit an unstoppable strike from 25 yards out.

It just skims over the bar but Claudio Bravo wouldn't have saved that.
