This is how the Premier League table looks at the moment and Bournemouth will move up to ninth with a win, but could then fall back to 10th if Everton gain at least a point against Arsenal in the late game.

Stoke could jump up to 13th with a win, but could end the day in the bottom three if they lose.

Bournemouth's magnificent 3-0 victory at Chelsea on Wednesday lifted them up to 10th in the Premier League.

However, such is the congestion in the bottom half of the table that the Cherries are only five points above the relegation zone.

Stoke moved out of the bottom three after their goalless draw with Watford, having taken four points from two matches under new manager Paul Lambert.

Both those fixtures were at home, so this is the first away match for Lambert - and Stoke go into it with the worst away record in the Premier League this season.

Stoke hand a debut today to new signing Badou Ndiaye, a Senegal midfielder who cost them £14m from Galatasaray on deadline day.

Their record signing remains the £18.3m they paid Porto for French midfielder Giannelli Imbula - who was on target in Stoke's last win here in February 2016, only his second appearance for the Potters.

Visiting fans will hope the new man fares better than Imbula - who is currently out on loan at Toulouse, having only started 21 more Premier League games since that game here two years ago.

    Bournemouth v Stoke (15:00 GMT)

Eddie Howe called Bournemouth's 3-0 win at Chelsea on Wednesday the club's "best result" in the Premier League, so it is no surprise to see him name a same starting XI and the same substitutes' bench.

Bournemouth: Begovic, Francis, Steve Cook, Ake, Fraser, Gosling, Lewis Cook, Daniels, Ibe, Stanislas, Callum Wilson. Subs: Boruc, Surman, Pugh, Arter, King, Mousset, Simpson.

For Stoke, Paul Lambert hands a debut to Senegal midfielder Badou Ndiaye following his £14m move from Galatasaray on transfer deadling day.

Ndiaye is one of three changes from the side that started the goalless draw against Watford on Wednesday, with Peter Crouch and Geoff Cameron also starting. Charlie Adam and Mame Biram Diouf drop to the bench, but Darren Fletcher is not in the squad.

Stoke: Butland, Zouma, Shawcross, Cameron, Bauer, Ndiaye, Allen, Pieters, Shaqiri, Crouch, Choupo-Moting. Subs: Johnson, Berahino, Adam, Diouf, Stafylidis, Sobhi, Grant.

  7. Can Bournemouth build on their 'best result'?published at 14:30 Greenwich Mean Time 3 February 2018

These are great times to be a Bournemouth fan.

A stunning 3-0 win at Chelsea in midweek took the club into the top half of the Premier League, and it was also the Cherries' "best result", according to boss Eddie Howe.

This season has been a pretty painful one for Stoke fans, but there are signs of optimism.

Paul Lambert has come in and tightened things up, and even picked up four points in their last two matches.

His next challenge? To improve on the worst away record in the Premier League.
