West Ham boss David Moyes, speaking to Sky Sports: "We didn't play well all game but certainly not in the second half.

"The second goal was a worldie - we should've dealt with the ball up but we dealt with the corner and he's scored a brilliant goal.

"We never really got to the pitch of the game - Brighton were at it from the start.

"We're missing a few key players but wouldn't use that as an excuse because that's football and we have players to come in. We hope we get those injured players back soon though.

"We've had a good run and moved ourselves away from the bottom but things are tightening up again."

West Ham boss David Moyes has dug out his book of football hyperbole and labelled Jose Izquierdo's goal for Brighton "a worldie".

Swansea City

Swansea's Nathan Dyer talking to Match of the Day about his side's recent good form: "It was a hard-earned point. This is always a hard place to come and we were set up very well on the back of recent victories. It was a good earned point away on the road.

"Every point that we get is crucial and we are just about out of the drop zone. This point is massive."

On new boss Carlos Carvalhal: "The manager has given us belief that anything is possible. We set up very well defensively to catch people on the counter attack. We have that aura about us now."

On the reception from Leicester fans: "I had a good year here and it was on of the best of my life. I appreciate the fans and for my time here."

Bournemouth

Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe: "Today wasn't a great performance but we had to dig in. We've done that a lot lately so that's a good sign for us.

"We struggled to get into it, we've got to give Stoke credit for that. But the key thing is we didn't concede two goals. We backed ourselves in the second half and I'm delighted with the way we came back."

Brighton & Hove Albion

Brighton boss Chris Hughton, speaking to BBC Sport: "We probably dropped our levels halfway through that first half - we were disappointed to go in at 1-1.

"Thankfully we got a very good reaction and the second half was as good as we've been in looking like scoring goals.

"That goal lifted the stadium. Whatever goal gets us the lead is important but when it's as good as that it lifts everyone on the pitch and in the stadium

"The most pleasing thing was that at 2-1 we could've been nervous and sat back on it but we didn't. We took that third chance and was a very big goal that releases any pressure we could've been under at the end.

"If we can put in more performances like this before the end of the season, then we'll be OK."

Just seven points between bottom-placed West Brom and Watford in 11th.

A couple of really important wins for Brighton and Southampton today, which have dragged West Ham back into the mix despite sitting 12th.

Swansea are one of four teams on 24 points, but sit outside the relegation zone on goal difference.

Manchester United

Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho tells BBC Sport: "We always had control of the game, but at half time it was 0-0. I guess we had around 85% possession in the first half but it was not enough. We kept doing the same in the second and even at 1-0 we were totally in control. Our defensive line as far from the danger areas.

"We had to be patient but had to keep the intensity high and the pressure. We had to break down the Berlin wall organised so well by David Wagner.

"It was nice for Alexis Sanchez to win a match, the first at home. Nice for him to play well and show the desire and happiness in playing football. That is most important. It was not the goal of his dreams, but it is a goal.

"It is important for the bad reasons (Munich air disaster) but the memories stay. The club looks at the date and event as a key moment in the history of the club. It is nice to do that playing at home and winning."

Southampton

Southampton defender Jack Stephens: "Going into the break 2-1 up made a big difference and coming out after half time we played really well, but we had to hold on a bit in those last 20 minutes or so.

"We need to keep going now, there's no point in coming here and getting a big three points without pushing on.

"No one wants to be in this situation but we’re the ones who have put us in the situation we're in and its up to us to get out of it."

On his goal: "It was one of those where as soon as I headed it I knew it was going to go in. I was disappointed with West Brom's opening goal, as it was my man, but I'm glad I could make up for it."

Bournemouth

Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe is told his side now have a "2% chance of relegation".

"It doesn't feel like we've got a 2% chance of relegation, we don't want to get ahead of ourselves..."

Brighton & Hove Albion

Brighton winger Jose Izquierdo, speaking to BBC Sport: "I scored one goal a little bit the same in Colombia.

"The only thing that went through my mind when I got the ball was to shoot.

"The only space I could see was the top corner because there was a lot of people in the box.

"The goal opened up the game and then Pascal got the third."

Chris Wise: King/Mousset goals swing game in Cherries favour. First PL goal for Mousset, first defeat for Lambert. His Stoke side ran out of legs as Bournemouth found theirs. Early shout but Eddie Howe's side look capable of ending relegation fears early.

Manchester United

Manchester United midfielder Nemanja Matic: "This win is good for our confidence and we have to fight 'til the end. Every game in the Premier League is a war. We have to stay focused until the end.

"Alexis Sanchez played really well and he will be a very important player for us with his quality. He is very good on the ball and does a great job defensively."

Bournemouth

More from Bournemouth's match-winner Lys Mousset: "It's been a great week for us, taking six points (after winning at Chelsea). We have to keep going now and we'll see what happens."

"We're disappointed - we had enough chances to score more than one goal."

On Riyad Mahrez missing today's game: "The boys will welcome Riyad back and he's no doubt one of our best players.

"It's for him, his agent and the club to deal with, but we would welcome him back."

Brighton & Hove Albion

Brighton midfielder Pascal Gross: "We're very happy we can win today - we were the better team and played some good football.

"It was an unbelievable goal from Jose - it helps to get in a good mood and then I scored another.

"When it's 1-1 both teams try to push so going 2-1 up is really important. It was the goal of the month maybe.

"Every win is at the right time for us because the league is very tight and we have some tough games. We need to win games at home and we deserved the win today."

Bournemouth
