    Take That, United fans.

    West Brom 1-2 Southampton

The day started so well with an early goal but two Southampton goals have pushed West Brom into a lonely-looking last place in the table.

Alan Pardew needs to find something, and fast.

  3. Left-sided energy...published at 15:50 Greenwich Mean Time 3 February 2018

    Brighton 1-1 West Ham

Here is a look at Gaetan Bong's touch map. He's playing at left-back for Brighton but by our maths, he has around three times as many touches in the opposition half than he does in his own.

That shows you how he's been bombing on. Over 60% of the Brighton play has gone down the left and surely West Ham need to take a look at that during the interval.

    Brighton 1-1 West Ham

And that's the break at Brighton, too.

The Seagulls took the lead through Glenn Murray after eight minutes, but Javier Hernandez's twinkle-toed effort pulled the Hammers level.

    Garth Crooks
Former Spurs striker on Final Score

It was a terrific header and great movement. He made a great connection as he moved across the six-yard box. If you're not going to put a player on the post then you've got to win that first header, otherwise you're in trouble.

Graham: I believe Hernandez scored his first Man United goal with the ball rebounding off his face off his boot. Community Shield!

Ah yes, the West Ham striker, who moments ago kicked the ball into his face, previously scored with his face for Manchester United in the 2010 Community Shield. Worth a watch on Youtube later.

United haven't worked the goalkeeper enough.

For all of the possession (79%), Sanchez, Lingard and Mata have linked up very well but there hasn't been enough crosses coming into the box for Lukaku.

Huddersfield will be delighted if they get to half time at 0-0.

Valencia and Luke Shaw should be giving United width today, but it hasn't happened so far.

    Bournemouth 0-1 Stoke

There's a debate corners at Bournemouth... Stoke aren't happy about the ball placement, but referee Paul Tierney says it is overhanging the quadrant as Junior Stanislas prepares to take his kick.

After all that, it's headed away to safety.

    Jack Stephens (43 mins)

Great header! That is a great goal from a corner again as James Ward-Prowse's excellent delivery is flicked in superbly at the near post by Jack Stephens.

West Brom had been largely on top but a strong five-minute spell from the visitors has them ahead.

Sam Byram isn't perhaps the man you'd expect to keep popping up in the Brighton box, but the right wing back has just met another Aaron Cresswell delivery with a free header.

    He nods over. Good chance.
