    Cheerio.

  2. 'I saw a lot of confusions'published at 22:36 Greenwich Mean Time 5 February 2018

    Watford 4-1 Chelsea

    Chelsea

More from Chelsea boss Antonio Conte on 5 live: "Two yellow cards in a few minutes, for sure you have to pay attention to avoid this situation.

"It was a difficult moment for us and then to go down 10 men and play with 10 players it wasn't good.

"I didn't see what happened with the penalty. We lost the game, I think we started in a bad way. We were very poor.

"We tried to pay football but I think today we didn't show this and we showed an uncomfortable situation with the ball.

"In this situation the fault is the coach - maybe I made a bad decision today with the starting XI. When you start in this way and play in this way you have doubt about the game. During the game it is difficult to change something, afterwards you can understand it and make bad decision.

"The second half I saw a great will but at the same time a lot of confusions. We don't play in this way. We have to accept this and fight a lot in this season. it will be very difficult for everything."

  3. 'He dived'published at 22:32 Greenwich Mean Time 5 February 2018

    Watford 4-1 Chelsea

Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois: "Our start was maybe not the best. We lost too many balls. The red card was very light and the penalty was a clear dive. I tried to make myself small and if a striker puts his feet there. He clearly left his foot and dived, it shouldn't have been a penalty. In the second half we tried to fight with 10 men, we got a goal and instead of trying to look quickly for a second goal maybe we should have regrouped.

"We all know this kind of player. They see a goalkeeper coming, he manufactured the content. It was very, very light.

"I think we have to find our form from before new year. We have a tough month coming up. It is important for us to continue to work - heads high."

  4. 'Maybe I made mistakes with the starting XI'published at 22:29 Greenwich Mean Time 5 February 2018

    Watford 4-1 Chelsea

    Chelsea

A bit more from Chelsea boss Antonio Conte, speaking to Sky Sports: "I tried to warn everyone about the difficulty of our path in the league and Champions League. We performed very bad but maybe I made the mistakes with the starting XI today.

"My choice was very poor I think. It was very difficult to change something tonight."

  5. 'An unforgettable night'published at 22:27 Greenwich Mean Time 5 February 2018

    Watford 4-1 Chelsea

    Watford

Watford boss Javi Gracia: "It was an unforgettable night. A great victory and a great match. I am very proud of my players today.

"You always try to look for the victory and play well. Today we played a good match, pressed high. OK, the match changed after the sending off but I think we played very well.

"Chelsea are a very big club, a big team. Today they had more difficulty because of the sending off but there was in the second half moments when they played better.

"I only think to get the next three points. Tomorrow we start training again to be ready for the next match."

  6. 'I work - if this is enough, OK'published at 22:23 Greenwich Mean Time 5 February 2018

    Watford 4-1 Chelsea

    Chelsea

Chelsea manager Antonio Conte has been asked about his future.

"My position? It is the same. I stay here, try to work and put all myself in the work.

"The pressure? Which pressure? What is the pressure?

"I work - if this is enough it is, OK. Otherwise the club has to take another decision."

ZigZak: I still support Conte shame on the fans calling for his head. But who can blame them, Hire and Fire is how the club has been run for a long time and it yielded results.

RobC: Typical knee jerk reaction after 2 bad results conte wont be sacked but probably gone in the summer

  8. 'We want to be safe as soon as possible'published at 22:11 Greenwich Mean Time 5 February 2018

    Watford 4-1 Chelsea

    Watford

Watford's Daryl Janmaat: "I know I can score goals, I did it in the past last year against Chelsea as well. It is really good, I am happy for the team and it is a really important win. We pressed them well. We won a lot of second balls.

"Last week in Stoke we had a good result, a point there, and three points today. We have to build on from here because we want to be safe as soon as possible."

  9. 'He touched me... I think'published at 22:04 Greenwich Mean Time 5 February 2018

    Watford 4-1 Chelsea

    Watford

Watford forward Gerard Deulofeu on Sky Sports: "We are happy for these three points, the team fight at the beginning and we are worth this win. I'm so happy for my fist game at home.

On the penalty he won in the first half: "Daryl Janmaat gave me a good ball and I think it's a clear penalty. He (Thibaut Courtois) touched me.. I think."

Mesud Zaman: Absolute shambles. Conte has to go. Worst I've seen Chelsea play for as long as I've been watching football. Players are not playing for Antonio Conte. His tactics aren't helping either. He'll be gone in the morning and I'd probably have no empathy for him.
