    Huddersfield 2-1 Bournemouth

Nice injection of pace from Jordon Ibe sends him into the penalty area on the left, but his low ball in is turned away for a corner. From the dead ball the Cherries commit a foul and there's more pressure off.

That was indeed the feedback I was getting in the week too - Huddersfield fans want to see their side have a go, even if that does mean defeat.

Bournemouth come down their left but Junior Stanislas and Callum Wilson can't quite complete a one-two and the danger passes.

Speaking to some Huddersfield fans at half-time and they think their side is getting ‘stuck in’ as well as they did before Christmas prior to their slide.

Perhaps the feeling is they have been trying to defend a little too much in recent weeks against, admittedly, some very good teams.

    Huddersfield 2-1 Bournemouth

    Danny Cadamarteri
Former Huddersfield Town striker on 5 Live

Early in the game, Huddersfield were losing second balls and Bournemouth were getting chances, but they’re picking it up now, and able to focus on their game, and had a lot of joy on the left, so will be looking for that to continue in the second half.

Great half. Three goals and plenty of action.

Don’t rule out Bournemouth though. They have pace to spare up front.

    Southampton v Liverpool (16:30 GMT)

    Jonathan Pearce
BBC Match of the Day commentator

Against Tottenham, Liverpool showed their gloriously good, muddled bad, and incomprehensibly mad!

Their one victory in four games is concerning.A team capable of beating Manchester Cityshould win this, but they've defeated the Saints just twice in their last eight meetings. They also might have one eye on their Champions League trip to Porto on Wednesday.

Southampton are unbeaten in six games - their best run in 16 months. But with five of their next six league games away, four of them against relegation rivals, they could still be in trouble until the very end. Too many poor signings, too many players allowed to leave.

One thing's for sure,Virgil Van Dijkwill get a blistering reception!

Newcastle v Man Utd (14:15 GMT)

    Guy Mowbray
    Match of the Day commentator

It's Rafa v Jose, it's Newcastle v Manchester United - but it doesn't feel like one of the classic clashes of yesteryear.

Benitez is at the other end of the table from Mourinho, and too preoccupied with keeping the Toon up to be concerned with his bitter rival from Liverpool-Chelsea battles and beyond (it even became a family affair!, external).

It's nice to think that he'll see this as a 'free hit' and send a side out to attack a la the cavalier Kevin Keegan days and the famous 5-0 , external…but he can't and won't.

One point could be a precious one, if never, ever, a 'special one'.
