    Huddersfield 3-1 Bournemouth

Approaching now or never time for Bournemouth if they are to mount a fightback. Lots of neat possession in the middle third but they can't get the ball into the danger area.

    Huddersfield 3-1 Bournemouth

Huddersfield win a free-kick but they are now without their chief taker, and the ball is overcooked out of play. Fifteen minutes or so, maybe more now with added time, for the Terriers to hold on.

A standing ovation as Aaron Mooy is carried off, on comes Philip Billing.

    Huddersfield 3-1 Bournemouth

This is bad news for Huddersfield - Aaron Mooy is having to leave the field on a stretcher, he's holding his head in his hands too. His left knee is in a brace.

Let's hope that's not as bad as it looks for the Australian.

Aaron Mooy has been excellent once again for Huddersfield but he needs treatment after a clash of knees in midfield. Concern here.

Rafa Benitez makes two changes to the side which drew at Crystal Palace last time out - and there is no debut for January signing Islam Slimani.

Slimani, signed from Leicester on deadline day, is not yet fit enough to play.

New goalkeeper Martin Dúbravka, a Slovakian international on loan from Sparta Prague, does start though, ahead of Karl Darlow, while Florian Lejune comes into the defence in place of Ciaran Clark, who has a knee complaint.

Newcastle: Dubravka, Dummett, Lascelles, Shelvey, Gayle, Diamé, Ritchie, Kenedy, Pérez, Lejeune,Yedlin.

Subs: Darlow, Murphy, Hayden, Manquillo,Joselu,Merino, Atsu.

Meanwhile, Manchester United have four changes to the team from their 2-0 win against Huddersfield.

Phil Jones comes back into the defence for Marcos Rojo while Ashley Young replaces Luke Shaw.

In midfield Paul Pogba is restored to the side in place of 21-year-old Scott McTominay, who drops to the bench, and Anthony Martial also comes in for Juan Mata.

Marcus Rashford is not in the squad, as Jose Mourinho goes without a striker among his substitutes.

Manchester United: de Gea, Jones, Valencia, Young, Smalling, Matic, Pogba, Lingard, Martial, Sanchez, Lukaku.

Subs: Romero, Lindelöf, Rojo, Mata, Carrick, Shaw, McTominay.

    Huddersfield 3-1 Bournemouth

    Leon Osman
Former Everton midfielder on 5 Live

It was a clever pass for Aaron Mooy and another great finish from Steve Mounie, but again poor for Bournemouth. Steve Cook on edge of his own area plays a ball right to Rajiv Van la Parra, 20 yards from his own goal. More poor defending.

Just over 20 minutes to go then. I was going to say hang on but Huddersfield have another good chance from the restart, but Alex Pritchard can't get on the end of a shot across goal.

GOAL - Huddersfield 3-1 Bournemouthpublished at 67 mins

    Steve Mounie

Lovely finish! Is that the goal that gives the Terriers their first points of the year?

Shocking from Bournemouth as they cough up possession on the edge of their own area, the ball is worked to Aaron Mooy, he rolls into the path of Steve Mounie and he clips home left-footed from the edge of the area.

    Delicious finish.

Nokeeroe: Shocking miss by Tom Ince.

  17. Postpublished at 64 mins

    Huddersfield 2-1 Bournemouth

Another half chance for the Terriers. Aaron Mooy at the heart of everything, his free-kick is a good one, it's nearly met on the full and then Tom Ince miskicks the loose ball once it spins out.

Both sides make changes - Ince is hooked for Collin Quaner, while Lys Mousset replaces Junior Stainslas.

  18. CLOSE!published at 61 mins

    Huddersfield 2-1 Bournemouth

That's better though! Huddersfield attack down the right, a cross comes through and is cleared but Terence Kongolo keeps the move going. He finds Aaron Mooy, who doesn't use the overlap and instead chops back on to his right foot and swings the ball in. It's a devilish ball, Tom Ince arrives in the pack and heads over the top!

He was stretching - but that's a very good chance indeed.

A few nerves in the stands, on the air, on the pitch? Huddersfield's relentless pressing has just eased off as a few misplaced passes kill any momentum.

They need a win and maybe that pressure is starting to tell.
