Finally a little bit of quality from Spurs, Wayne Hennessey's coming for the ball, and Harry Kane's headed it back across him. It looked as though his effort was heading for Palace's two men on the line, but actually Hennessey's little touch diverts it in. What would Spurs do without him.

    Harry Kane

There it is! Harry Kane pops up at the back post from Christian Eriksen's corner to get what surely is the winner for Tottenham.

Wayne Hennessey gets a hand to it but can't keep it out. Heartbreak for Palace - they were so close. Kane has struck when it counts - despite his glaring earlier miss.

Roy Hodgson throws his head forward in frustration on the bench.

Romelu Lukaku has failed to score in any of his six Premier League matches against the ‘big six’ this season, attempting just four shots on target in those games.

Seventh time lucky for Lukaku? Kick-off at Old Trafford is not too far away - around 20 minutes.

  11. 'Incredible chance missed'published at 13:42 Greenwich Mean Time 25 February 2018

That is an incredible chance. It's a really great ball from Ben Davies, and Serge Aurier almost comes in too quickly, he gets on top of the ball as he comes in, and he doesn't make any real contact on it. If he'd composed himself there, it would have been a simple finish.

David: The amount Alli dives is truly embarrassing and shameful, something has to be done

Nick: If Dele Ali behaves like that in Russia he will be a liability. Wouldn’t make the starting 11 in my book.

Ahmed: Dele Alli dives again. Refs are even tired of giving him yellow now.

Harry Kane, so determined to fashion a chance at redemption as he works space in the box for a low shot that Wayne Hennessey just about keeps out.

Spurs are working overdrive in search of a winner. They've got six minutes to find one.

  15. 'Spurs' final ball has been poor'published at 13:39 Greenwich Mean Time 25 February 2018

    Steve Claridge

We've seen it time and time again from Spurs in this second half, they've got the ball wide, got it into decent positions, but the final ball has been so poor. I don't think Serge Aurier has beaten the first man once.

  16. Postpublished at 82 mins

    Crystal Palace 0-0 Tottenham

Andros Townsend is rapid but he's got nothing on Davinson Sanchez who eases the winger out of possession and protects the ball to earn a goal kick.

James Tomkins is back on for Palace.

    EIGHT minutes to play.

James Tomkins is up but I'm not sure he can carry on. He looks very sluggish and needs more treatment.

Another change for Spurs - here comes Son Heung-min. Mousa Dembele comes off.

  18. 'No stone in my shoes'published at 13:38 Greenwich Mean Time 25 February 2018

Man Utd v Chelsea (14:05 GMT)

Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho on his previous club Chelsea: "I have a good relation with the board, I don't forget how nice they were to me in a difficult period with the departure of my father; they showed me in that moment they feel me as a friend that did his best for the club and always respects the club.

"With the players, I don't have any problem, any regret, any stone in my shoes, no problem at all.

"The fans are fans; with many of them in the street I feel that empathy and that relation that normally should be that connection and feeling forever. When I play at Stamford Bridge, some reactions from the fans are just reactions."

Andros Townsend scampers up the wing. They will take a draw from here if you offered it.

Spurs go again. Building from the back, patient. Serge Aurier crosses and it appears to strike Patrick van Aanholt's arm - there are appeals - but it actually hits his thigh.

Speaking of thighs, James Tomkins looks like he's done his hamstring making a clearance from Van Aanholt's block.

John: Three foul throws from a £23 million player. Serge Aurier should be fined for that.
