Romelu Lukaku starts for the hosts, Alvaro Morata for the visitors.

For much of last summer it appeared Lukaku would be the one at Stamford Bridge and Morata at Old Trafford.

As it turned out, Manchester United couldn't agree a fee with Real Madrid for Morata and Jose Mourinho took advantage of Chelsea dragging their heels over Lukaku.

Although both men have done OK at their new clubs, it would be fair to see neither has been an unqualified success so far.

  2. 'Really poor cross from Sorloth'published at 13:17 Greenwich Mean Time 25 February 2018

    Crystal Palace 0-0 Tottenham

    Steve Claridge

Really poor ball in from Alexander Sorloth, he's worked so hard down that left flank to get to the byline, and it's Christian Benteke against Ben Davies at the back post, but it's just a really poor cross.

  4. GREAT SAVE!published at 59 mins

    Crystal Palace 0-0 Tottenham

Victor Wanyama spins into space, sparking something different for Spurs. It comes out to Serge Aurier on the right, he fires a dipping low effort on goal and Wayne Hennessey parries well.

Palace clear and can quickly break, but it breaks down at the vital moment with Alexander Sorloth.

Chelsea also make two alterations following their 1-1 draw with Barcelona on 20 February.

Antonio Conte hands Danny Drinkwater a start alongside N'golo Kante in midfield, while Alvaro Morata returns to the starting XI.

  7. 'Spurs making it easy for Palace'published at 13:14 Greenwich Mean Time 25 February 2018

    Crystal Palace 0-0 Tottenham

    Steve Claridge
Ex-Premier League striker on BBC Radio 5 live

Spurs are just trying to play through the middle all the time, and it's just completely, utterly congested. They need to change it up, because there's not enough width for them, and they're making it easy for Crystal Palace.

I thought that was going to be the one moment of magic to lift this pretty dull encounter. It should have been. Absolute genius from Christian Eriksen, it would have been one of the assists of the season. Harry Kane will want another bite...

  9. 'Kane should do better'published at 13:12 Greenwich Mean Time 25 February 2018

I'm not sure Harry Kane takes that with the correct foot - he's let it run across him onto his left foot and tried to hit it back across goal, when he should have hit it with his right. It's not the simplest of chances, but he should do better.

  10. HUGE MISS!published at 55 mins

    Crystal Palace 0-0 Tottenham

Beautiful flick from Christian Eriksen! In reply to one from Serge Aurier he arcs towards Harry Kane with a delightful bit of improvisation.

It totally opens up the stubborn Palace defence and Kane has to score. He has time and space to pick his spot from five yards, but shanks it horribly wide.

I mean this is Kane we are talking about. How on earth does he not put that away??

HipHipHoppo: Unoriginally, I would bring on Son and Lucas for Lamela and one of Wanyama or Dembele to scare the Palace defence again.

Lotak: Seems like the reverse fixture. Not too much action and palace holding Spurs well. Need Son/Moura to open their defence. Get them on soon!

  13. 'Hammered over the bar'published at 13:09 Greenwich Mean Time 25 February 2018

    Crystal Palace 0-0 Tottenham

    Steve Claridge
Ex-Premier League striker on BBC Radio 5 live

You would expect better of someone with Christian Eriksen's technique there, he just hasn't got his head over the ball, and he's hammered it over the bar.

  14. CHANCE!published at 51 mins

    Crystal Palace 0-0 Tottenham

Ah, Christian Benteke can't quite stretch to meet a loose ball breaking for Palace on the counter, then Andros Townsend is locked off by Ben Davies. Not much going for the home side, they can't get out.

Davies knocks across goal, it takes a deflection and sits up for Christian Eriksen on the edge, but the Dane slices wide. We've had some really terrible finishing today.

Richard Smith: With regards Paul Pogba - there aren’t many like him - United need to give him the love. He's a great character and would be a big loss to the Premier League if he goes!

Man Utd v Chelsea (14:05 GMT)

So Paul Pogba starts for Manchester United - Jose Mourinho's side look to be going 4-3-3 with the Frenchman in his favoured midfield position - Nemanja Matic and Scott McTominay are in alongside him.

For Chelsea, Alvaro Morata returns to the starting XI.

Awful! Harry Kane is rubbish isn't he, terrible footballer. He blazes one out of the ground from range, balance was all over the place.

Only eight goals in his past nine games now, Kane. Can't play for toffee.

It's a good point, every time I see Son Heung-min play I'm impressed. He could well have a say in this later from the bench.

Palace immediately drop behind the ball - we are back to how the first half ended, Spurs knocking around patiently, searching for a bit of space.
