"There's a bite about Celtic tonight - they are clearly looking for a bit of payback from that result at Tynecastle.

"A lot of questions have been asked of Celtic of late and they're coming up with answers tonight.

"They look fresh, energetic, the changes certainly seem to have helped. The energy levels and tempo look far superior to anything we've seen in the past few weeks."

  2. Hearts broken and battered by rampant Celticpublished at 20:36 Greenwich Mean Time 30 January 2018

    HT: Celtic 3-0 Hearts

    Chris McLaughlin
BBC Sport Scotland at Celtic Park

Celtic have quite simply dismantled Hearts in the first half here in the east end of Glasgow. They’ve fought for everything, been slick and precise with their passing and have shown as real desire to push forward at every opportunity. It’s already a night to forget for Hearts. Damage limitation now.

    Celtic 3-0 Hearts

Kyle Lafferty, on a booking, is given a quiet word from referee Craig Thomson after a tangle with Jozo Simunovic. The Hearts striker needs to calm down as the delighted home crowd jeer his every move.

  7. Dembele in the moodpublished at 20:28 Greenwich Mean Time 30 January 2018

    Celtic 3-0 Hearts

    Chris McLaughlin
BBC Sport Scotland at Celtic Park

He’s been trying desperately all night and finally Dembele gets his goal. Great Work from Tierney to play the ball in from the left and a lovely flick from the Frenchman. Celtic being rewarded for their hunger tonight.

  8. Dembele with 'the faintest of touches'published at 20:27 Greenwich Mean Time 30 January 2018

    Celtic 3-0 Hearts

    Pat Bonner
Former Celtic goalkeeper on BBC Sportsound

"That came from a very strong tackle from Brown on young Cochrane. Tierney did so well on the by-line, played the dummy, dragged it inside, and there was Dembele with the faintest of touches to take it past the goalkeeper.

"What a start for Celtic, and you have to say they've deserved it."

  9. Harry's game is overpublished at 20:26 Greenwich Mean Time 30 January 2018

    Celtic 3-0 Hearts

Just to rub salt in the Hearts' wound, Harry Cochrane cannot continue after that challenge from Scott Brown. The teenager is holding his shoulder as he trudges off, with Prince Buaben his replacement.

A strong tackle from Scott Brown on Harry Cochrane gets the ball rolling. Kieran Tierney sets off on a gallop and clips in a lovely pass for Moussa Dembele to steer home with a subtle touch at the near post.

  11. Postpublished at 20:22 Greenwich Mean Time 30 January 2018

    Celtic 2-0 Hearts

Hearts are really creaking at the back as the waves of Celtic attacks keep coming. This time a defender in maroon gets a toe to the ball just as Moussa Dembele looks to crack in a shot.

    Inverness CT 0-0 Dundee

    Kenny Crawford
BBC Sport Scotland at the Caledonian Stadium

There are a few areas of the pitch at the Caledonian Stadium that are chopping up a fair bit, particularly one area just outside Dundee's box. Not ideal for Jack Hendry and Kerr Waddell as they try to keep an eye on Caley Thistle forward George Oakley, who's been a handful.

  13. 'Sound and structured' Hearts defence brokenpublished at 20:17 Greenwich Mean Time 30 January 2018

    Celtic 2-0 Hearts

    Michael Stewart
Former Scotland midfielder on BBC Sportsound

"Hearts will be very disappointed they were outnumbered. The hallmark of Hearts in the last few games is being defensively very sound and structured.

"I know Boyata stayed up after the set-play, but Mitchell, I'm not even sure he knew Forrest was on his shoulder. He's got to attack the ball and he was beaten in the air

"It was a lovely lay-off from Dembele and a very composed finish from the Belgian centre-half."

    Celtic 2-0 Hearts

    Chris McLaughlin
BBC Sport Scotland at Celtic Park

Stunning build up for that Celtic goal. Deft touch from Dembele to slip Boyata in. The Belgian international shows all the composure of a fine centre-forward to slot under McLaughlin. Can’t see any way back for the Jambos with Celtic playing like this.

  15. goal

GOAL Celtic 2-0 Heartspublished at 20:12 Greenwich Mean Time 30 January 2018

    Dedryck Boyata

James Forrest nicks a header away from a dozing Demetri Mitchell; Moussa Dembele is alert to it, laying the ball off to Dedryck Boyata and the big defender tucks it away like a seasoned striker.

  16. 'Dembele in top form puts that in the net'published at 20:11 Greenwich Mean Time 30 January 2018

    Celtic 1-0 Hearts

"Oh, Dembele should've done better," shouts Pat Bonner, as the French striker shoots straight at Jon McLaughlin from close range.

"He was probably taken by surprise because the ball was punched clear by McLaughlin, Kouassi went in and won it and ricocheted it to Dembele.

"It just bounced up on him, and McLaughlin was out quickly blocking, but it was a big, big chance."

Michael Stewart adds: "It probably did surprise him, but Moussa Dembele in full flow puts that in the net.

"Although you've got to give credit to McLaughlin - he's been a very, very good acquisition for Hearts and he's out very quickly - but Dembele in top form puts that in the back of the net."

  17. Postpublished at 20:09 Greenwich Mean Time 30 January 2018

Big chance for Moussa Dembele as the ball drops to the striker in front of goal but he can't squeeze the ball past goalkeeper Jon McLaughlin, who did well to react swiftly and close down the angles.

  18. Postpublished at 20:08 Greenwich Mean Time 30 January 2018
