Duncan: Not much love for Liverpool tonight, top drawer away performance all but securing quarter-final place. Man City got all the plaudits last night against a poorer side. Bring on the draw.

Abu: PSG spent 222m euros on Neymar to win the Champions League... so far so good.

Adam: These results are meaningless, give Porto the same money as Liverpool and see what happens. Not Liverpool's fault same as every Premier League team gets TV money.

    Porto 0-5 Liverpool

Sadio Mane is the fourth Liverpool player to score a hat-trick in the Champions League, after Michael Owen, Yossi Benayoun and Philippe Coutinho.

    Porto 0-5 Liverpool

    Stephen Warnock
Ex-Liverpool defender on BBC Radio 5 Live

Sadio Mane has looked off, not as confident in the first half of the season, not always running at people, making things happen the way he used to. Whether he’s trying to ease himself back after injuries slow, maybe.

But tonight he’s back, got his hat-trick and looked great again.

Will: Yes Porto have been awful and Liverpool have duly battered them. But you can only beat the team in front of you. Concentrate on your own clubs rather than sour grapes at others success.

MP: Wonder how Philippe Coutinho is feeling after seeing that great performance away from home vs Porto. He must be regretting it!

Anon:At the age of 26 is it to late to go home and tell my dad, 'I don't want to support Oxford, I want to be a Liverpool fan'?

As an Oxford fan myself, don't you dare Anon!

      Porto 0-5 Liverpool

      Pat Nevin
BBC Radio 5 live at Estadio do Dragao

Liverpool felt Porto out and realised ‘we’re heavyweights and they’re middleweights, maybe even lightweights’. And battered them all over the pitch.

I've got nothing to say about Porto. They weren’t good enough, weren’t strong enough, weren’t quick enough.

Liverpool grow in stature and belief, and the question remains are they good enough to go all the way?

      Real Madrid 3-1 PSG

I suspect PSG boss Unai Emery will have questions to answer about replacing Edinson Cavani with a right-back at 1-1.

      Real Madrid 3-1 PSG

I said Zinedine Zidane really needed his 80th-minute changes to pay off. And Marco Asensio ended up setting up Real's two late goals. There were three minutes and 22 seconds between the strikes.

Gareth Bale is played in over the top for Real, but keeper Alphonse Areola comes rushing off his line to clear. Quick thinking.

Olrunda: Do I need to remind someone that this is a last 16 tie in the Champions League and not a 3rd round Carabao Cup tie. Liverpool have been stunning in the CL.

Anon: I think PSG losing 3-1 to this Real Madrid side shows that no amount of money can get you past the big teams if you are not being managed by someone with the know-how.

Anon: Ronaldo knows his job - win the game for Real. And as the years have gone by he's crystalised it into becoming the ultimate centre forward. His shift has been insane though, he was left-back at one point. Team player.

Aj: Ronaldo is on a different level. Wow!

George L: Looks like neither Man City or Liverpool are giving goals up for Lent.

Again they score at a canter, but take nothing away from Liverpool, and nice move between the players. If Sadio Mané missed I was going to give him dogs abuse, with Gomez free on the right. But from 20 yards, if you put it in the net, it’s the right ball.

      Marcelo (86 mins)

      What a turnaround!

Marcelo plays the ball to Toni Kroos, gets it back. He gives it to Marco Asensio and gets it back - but this time he doesn't pass it and instead fires the ball past keeper Alphonse Areola with his shin.

They all count, and he celebrates it like he's won the World Cup. Plenty of badge kissing etc.
