  1. goal

GOAL - Real Madrid 2-1 PSGpublished at 21:26 Greenwich Mean Time 14 February 2018

    Cristiano Ronaldo (83 mins)

    Cometh the hour...

PSG do a bad job of clearing the ball and Luka Modric finds Marco Asensio, whose cross is parried by keeper Alphonse Areola. It goes straight to Cristiano Ronaldo, who turns it home with his knee.

    A huge, huge goal.

Ryan: Can we please wrap Mo Salah and Roberto Firmino in cotton wool and just protect them now?

Greg: We won the Champions League with Djimi Traore in defence.....this lot are way better.

Gavin: A reality check is needed. Porto are a poor team. Cannot defend and their goalkeeper might as well be in Liverpool's team. Talk about winning the Champions League after this result is laughable

    Real Madrid 1-1 PSG

Close as Gareth Bale, picked out by Lucas Vazquez, shoots from a tight angle, poking the ball past the keeper but Presnel Kimpembe slides it out.

Ten to go in both games.

  4. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 21:23 Greenwich Mean Time 14 February 2018

    Real Madrid 1-1 PSG

Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane makes his final two changes with 11 minutes left. Attacking midfielders Marco Asensio and Lucas Vazquez replace Isco and holding player Casemiro.

He could really do with this paying off.

  5. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 21:22 Greenwich Mean Time 14 February 2018

    Porto 0-4 Liverpool

Joe Gomez comes on for Trent Alexander-Arnold and Danny Ings is in for Roberto Firmino, who gets a hug from Jurgen Klopp.

    Real Madrid 1-1 PSG

Now Real have an attack. Gareth Bale pulls the ball back to Cristiano Ronaldo, whose shot is deflected out for a corner.

Sergio Ramos gets his head onto the corner, but it's deflected wide again. It's been a while since he scored a big goal (that I can remember).

Ash W: Who wants Liverpool next round then?

Anon: Now I get what Firmino meant when he said, "we will make them suffer."

Johnny: So Mo Salah & Roberto Firmino have scored over 50 goals between them this season and it’s not even March. Right. That’s quite good isn’t it?

John G: Very impressed by Liverpool and Man City and even Spurs (ouch). Albeit tinged with sorrow as I brace myself for Östersunds tomorrow. The joy of Thursday 6pm kick-offs.

    Real Madrid 1-1 PSG

Close. Yuri Berchiche puts in a low cross from the left. Dani Alves tries to slide it in at the back post, but can't reach it in time. Real's defence shouldn't have let that go all the way across.

  9. Postpublished at 21:19 Greenwich Mean Time 14 February 2018

    Real Madrid 1-1 PSG

PSG are knocking on the door now. It's not quite attack v defence, but it's not far off.

Anon: And some crazy are people asking if Liverpool have improved under Jurgen Klopp.

Dennis: Anything Man City can do Liverpool can do better! Two more goals ... come on lads!

Gideon: All those saying that Liverpool cant win the CL with this defence. Who needs one when your forwards are this hot!

  14. 'Even Milner's outpacing players'published at 21:15 Greenwich Mean Time 14 February 2018

    Porto 0-4 Liverpool

    Pat Nevin
BBC Radio 5 live at Estadio do Dragao

For his hard work, for his creativity, for his bad luck, boy does Firmino deserve that goal. Been absolutely splendid. James Milner, who I could talk about day is running away from defenders on the left, quicker than everyone. Which shows you what they’re up against.

  15. Postpublished at 21:15 Greenwich Mean Time 14 February 2018

    Real Madrid 1-1 PSG

Neymar runs from halfway and Dani Alves makes a great run on the right. Neymar needs to hit it further forward into the run of Alves, but makes his team-mate work too much to control the ball and chance is gone.

  16. 'I expected more from Porto'published at 21:13 Greenwich Mean Time 14 February 2018

    Porto 0-4 Liverpool

    Pat Nevin
BBC Radio 5 live at Estadio do Dragao

I know that if you compare the kind of money and finances the Liverpool and Porto have it’s night and day, there’s no comparison, but even so I expected more of Porto tonight. There aren’t many who could get a game in the Liverpool side.

  17. goal

GOAL - Porto 0-4 Liverpoolpublished at 21:12 Greenwich Mean Time 14 February 2018

    Roberto Firmino (70 mins)

Liverpool are winning this game so convincingly that they're almost in the semi-finals, never mind the quarters. James Milner's cross finds Roberto Firmino, who slams the ball home.

The Reds' front three have all got a goal or two now.

Thomas: Do European players not get booked for diving. Toni Kroos and Neymar have both blatantly dived in this game and the ref has turned a blind eye to it. How can you stamp out simulation if you don't punish it?

Fred: The amount of diving in the Madrid game is astonishing. I'd love to see a no-nonsense ref take control although every player would get two yellows.

  19. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 21:11 Greenwich Mean Time 14 February 2018

    Real Madrid 1-1 PSG

Here comes Gareth Bale, who replaces Karim Benzema for the final 22 minutes. A popular change at the Bernabeu, you'd imagine partly because it means Benzema is off.

  20. Postpublished at 21:10 Greenwich Mean Time 14 February 2018

    Porto 0-3 Liverpool

Porto defender Diego Reyes shoots from distance but it's easily held by Loris Karius.
