We're done here for the night, but that's not the end of the mid-week Championship action.

We'll be back tomorrow evening with four more games from the second tier, plus occasional updates from the relegation battle between Rochdale and MK Dons in League One.

The highlight of the action looks like being the battle for the play-off places between Bristol City and Fulham at Ashton Gate, but all four games could have a big impact on the top six spots come the end of the season.

Until then, thanks for joining us and goodbye.

Wednesday's Championship fixtures (all 19:45 GMT):

    • Bristol City v Fulham
    • Derby v Leeds
    • Ipswich v Cardiff
    • Wolves v Norwich

Not a great deal of movement at the very top of the table, as Aston Villa missed the chance to go second by drawing at home to Preston,

However - after Sheffield United, Middlesbrough and Brentford boosted their play-off hopes - who is going to sneak into the Championship's top six at the end of the season?

Your guess is as good as mine. Just three points separate Bristol City in sixth from the 10th-placed Bees, who put five past Birmingham this evening.

Here's how the bottom of the Championship table looks after tonight's fixtures.

Bolton Wanderers are the big winners, moving four points clear of the relegation zone, while Burton boosted their survival hopes with victory at Barnsley.

Birmingham, Hull and Sunderland all lost, and Chris Coleman's Black Cats slip to the foot of the table.

Reading have also been dragged back into the thick of the dogfight - the Royals are level on points with Bolton following a draw at Nottingham Forest.
